UPDATE:

CCP has started getting the matches up on YouTube now, so I have pulled my play list down. It was only intended to fill the gap until they had time to get around to it.

I have put up a section on my Youtube site linking to their play lists for your convenience, and have also included a collection of all of the Extras (corp ads, CCP promos, special features, etc.) that air during the tournament in the same section. I'll see about organizing those so that people looking for a specific ad or feature can find them more easily.

Well, here's the deal.

I have all of the tournament matches downloaded and sitting on my hard drive, it wouldn't take much to do a bit of editing and post them on YouTube all split up as one match per video (as opposed to scrolling through the 5 hour stream on twitch, with all the Jita Cam time to skip past).

On the other hand we all know that CCP will eventually get around to putting all of the matches up on YouTube themselves on their YouTube channel.

CCP has always been pretty clear about their liberal policy in this regard, and have no issues with people using their material from Trailers, Music Video's, Tournaments etc. as long as it is properly credited and not used to promote selling other products or having restrictions (such as charging a fee to watch) imposed.

However, I certainly don't want to be seen as stealing their thunder.

So I'll ask you, the EVE community... would you like me to put these matches up on YouTube over the next few days?
Or would you prefer to wait and view them on CCP's site first?

I'm good either way, I just wanted to make the offer.

Please do twitch vods are so laggy and wont buffer the whole video at any given time ty

I think it would be a great idea if you have the time ofc :)

Edit: Yes, consider this a "+1". I had someone request that I "put the fights on TCR", but a) haha i don't have that kind of time and b) I can't upload those size of files - I'm in the boonies and capped on internet bandwidth, so no vids for me

But, if you're going to upload them to YouTube, that's an option!

If you are talking about embedding them on your site from my channel I have no issues with that (nor would CCP if the disclaimer in the description is somewhere visible and you aren't charging a fee to view them). I have my channel set up to specifically allow it, so go for it if you like. If something hiccups let me know.
