Your amount of dedication is just ... wow ... all these links...

I have a photographic memory. I find the links by putting in terms I remember from the post (usually in the first try).

Given that's Doc's posting, I'm not sure that's true.

If you believe in Multiverse theory, it is statistically possible that in some other universe Doc holds a position within CCP's Randomized Volunteer Strike Team (RUST). Perhaps this is the same universe where ho's go..

You can be certain it will not happen in our universe.

This actually exists. It consists of writing a statement in such a way that it could be trolling or not trolling, depending on who and how it is perceived.

Such uncertain statements are also a great way to determine the way someone thinks by how they respond (baiting with confirmation bias).

Trolling *is* a art.

Schrödingers trolling.

Quoted from Doc Fury: "Concerned citizens: Doc seldom plays EVE on the weekends during spring and summer, so you will always be on your own for a couple days a week. Doc spends that time collecting kittens for the on-going sacrifices, engaging in reckless outdoor activities, and speaking in the 3rd person."

Not sure what does has to do with a photographic memory ... ?

I remember words either as feelings or the post, visually, and search for them. ^_^

Anyhow ... great thread! (:

Did you mean respond to or become a troll post? They are already expert at generating troll replies.

Trolling is not a line, it is a continuum. By meeting trolls head on instead of circumventing them, Doc and Tippia could be perceived as trolling themselves. It's the hazard of being a vigilante. Sure, we can count on the Commissioner Gordons and Inspector Lestrades of GD (ISD), but some people will always think that Batman and Sherlock are criminals.

Yes, I just said Doc is the Batman of GD.

I would have to say less super and more ZERO hero. Lol

First off. Hi Doc! Good to see you back.

Now for the conspiracy. Anyone notice how Ruby showed up again at the same time.

Could both those characters be on the same acct? Inquiring minds want to know.

Doc has indeed returned for a while at least, there is much of Dog's work that remains undone.

There are only 2 things within the Fury compound that could be considered "furry".

1. This:

2. A plate of something unrecognizable that was left in the lab fridge for too long. We are hesitant to discard it before administering a proper Turing or similar test, as someone reported seeing it push some vegetables onto the floor. The faint sound of sighing or groaning when the door is opened and the light comes on also sometimes occurs, as if in some sad commentary of the contents.

The summer has been otherwise fruitful. Our work on a more efficient feline-delivery system continues, and we believe we have stumbled upon a revolutionary way to herd them rapidly and individually over significant distances. Behold: The Fish Cannon

Preliminary testing with the cats stalled however (due to friction) until it was discovered how to best prepare initiates for loading into the system. This "one little trick" was discovered only after several attempts to add rifling to the projectiles was abandoned.

Doc hopes to do several trial runs transporting sacrifices initiates into the Bardabungha volcano over the coming weeks. The government of Iceland's RFP mandates the use of "virgins" but we are hoping they feel (as we do) that ***** is ***** for purposes of satisfying angry volcano deities.

/a pox on the word filter, Doc was using the common vernacular for 'feline'.

There is a box of kittens and a Fish Cannon™ in this post.
#ReasonsDocIsAwesome

PS: Ridgeway (my adult Maine Coon) would go literally anywhere the Fish Cannon™ was pointed. His love of raw fish overrides his need for autonomy.
Arthur (girlfriend's adult Maine Coon), on the other hand, gives zero damns and would sit next to the sliding glass door, continuing to plot the murder of our neighbor's urban rooster.

PPS: Welcome back, Doc. We missed you. Many of us have tried to carry on your work while you've been gone.

Not quite. The reason being it does not move the thread in question. A good thing as it is actually not always right and as such it can not be regarded as a safety net.
If anything, it is a tool that leads to discussions about forum moderation...Sad

I gather it requires some rewriting of the tool in question, but the best thing would be if it generated reports on the thread(s) it deems in need of a move to more appropriate parts of the forum. That way our team gets notified and we can access the situation and take the necessary steps. Mind you, such a necessary step can be 'do nothing to thread, resolve report', depending on our decision.

On that note, any single one of you can do the same! You see a thread in the wrong part of the forum? Report it!
Yes! You can be a FuryBot too! What are you waiting for? This is your chance!

No more holidays for Ezwal or FuryBot. We need our adults to ehr, keep things in order. Although Barstool is coming along nicely now too.

Given that most people here will agree that Doc Fury is a god amongst men and thus deserves special privileges, would it be possible to give him limited mod powers, even though he is not officialy part of the ISD team?
Like, banning one forum user per day for a week?

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

Mixing an ASFR/technosexuality fetish with a furry fetish is just ummh ... rather weird.

Now, what about Heisenberg's uncertainty troll? It's the theory that states you can only know exactly what a person is saying or exactly how much they are trolling, but never both.
