Yes because your big empires are all the rage. Creating a sea of renters and a blob the size of the fat lady at the circus. Its a good time to be blue to 1/2 the map. Nothing to do but rat for days on end with out any PVP.

Cant wait until your empires crumble due to inactivity and all of your PVPers unsub or go somewhere else and then, and only then, just like the preivious NC, you will be the monolitic alliance that rules a substancial part of the galaxy with no one to defend it.

As already said. Look at the things ccp is doing with your full eyes seeing everything and not a microsope focused on yoru one pet feature and you will see that CCP is brining eve up to modern times with code that can scale and improved tools and graphics.

EVE 2 is already coming slowly. Its one of the things that pisses me off when people go 'why are you fixing XXX its fine! You need to fix null!' No, XXX is not fine, its in old code and needs to be made scaleable. Everything is interconnected. And looking at the big picture you realize why stuff gets fixed as it is.

Further more, I only know of 2 space games, both nothing like eve, and one I think will be the biggest flop in gaming history. But we will see
