I am neither ganking miners nor freighters.
It's not my business how others play,
as long as thwy don't interefere with my playstyle
and obey to the CODE.

No one is above the CODE.

No one is above the CODE...roleplaying does become harder when your crew can't find 12 people to jump in ships for a tournament, doesn't it?

Confirming Sol doesn't gank miners or freighters, they're not her preferred prey.

The dripping sarcasm, you appear to have missed it.
Sol is pretty outspoken when it comes to CODE, she doesn't hold them in high regard at all.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Most of our fleets are 20-30 members, so personnel is not the issue :)

Together we can make Highsec a better place! www.lawofhighsec.com

Read it, share it, learn it, quote it, memorize it,  live it, breathe it!

If you knew anything at all about James and his band of gregarious gankers you'd know that the gank fleets also include people that are external to the alliance. AT rules require that all team members are part of the alliance, ergo people that regularly gank with CODE, but who are not part of the alliance, are not allowed to represent them in the AT. If you wish to comment on their performance, or lack thereof, in the alliance tournament then you should do it in the appropriate place

TL;DR The Alliance Tournament is a totally different kettle of fish with regards to fleet compositions, and who can be in them.

That dosn't change a thing, not enough codies who dare to fight. Your "friends" didn't want to fight under the name of this puny alliance.

Is it because code was to scared to actually fight an even team on equal terms and weapons, everyone is above the code you are nothing to be feared and the performance code showed at the at proved pretty much that

They're not my friends, if they were I wouldn't have the entire alliance, and those that fly with them set to "bloody terrible". Although the ones I've had dealings with are far more civil than many of the so called "good guys".

I know my enemy and their methods, it makes them easier to avoid, nothing more, nothing less. That said I have no problem with what they do, culling the greedy, ignorant and AFK is as valid a way to play Eve as any other, and it stops it from becoming WoW in space.

Hi La Rynx; thanks for your comment. Thanks also for giving the soundfiles a hearing; that makes the comment worthy of a response!

The Code is Serious Business, make no mistake. But it is true that some folks are sufficiently sophisticated to detect tongue-in-cheek humour and advanced satirical content in the writings of James 315. Those not so gifted struggle with it and laugh or rage at quite the wrong things. There are examples all over the comments sections of his Blog, and elsewhere, alas.

If I understand you correctly, you are saying that the CODE. Alliance Team let down the New Order movement in some fashion, and that therefore James 315's staunch setting-out of the superiority of the message in The Code - or rather my equally confident declamation of it - has been set at nought by those events. That disparity causes you to experience 'fun'.

Congratulations!

This is called 'Humour' (and hardly a novel form of it).

An errant miner loses a 36m Isk Retriever and rants for 20 minutes, despite the fact that he has nearly a billion Isk in his wallet and makes millions mining all day.

The disparity between his rage and the value of the ship causes us amusement too. So you see, you are no better than we!

Well I do have to admit that CODE members seem to pretty much suck at RP...
... and I do believe I know the reasons partly ...
... I am not really good either except for the erotic parts ... (no shame admitting it, it's seriously common)
... but that can be changed........... ;)

What's that, little troll?
Meeting scripture with some verse?
Couplets are the peak of droll
For you, I'll make this terse.

The people of the CODE.
All turn and look one way.
They want to take miners from their load
Yet from tournaments run away.

With as long as it takes to pass,
For their weapons to get to hull,
They'd find themselves quite surpass'd
Should they stumble out to null.

The tanks may vary more,
But wherever Hulks may gleam
Their holds will still be full of ore
As CODE. has lost its steam.

They cannot make a show
They cannot make a stand,
They let all New Eden know
Their fleets are barely mann'd.

Let them their dogma dear,
The miners all be free.
What has hi-sec to fear

I like how the clueless masses will quit the game en masse within the next months ...
... because their delusional belief will get crushed bigtime.

Yes, I am talking about that failure above.

There was once an EVE miner.
Who's ship they thought was none the finer.
However they were AFK,
And then got blown away.
The simple moral from this said tale,
Is that compliance could have prevented the fail.
Something something purchase a permit.

(I didn't realize I need a Creative-Lit degree for Eve! I thought it was just space-spreadsheets!)
