OK will make a channel & mailing list tonight once I log on (assuming someone hasn't already; if you have shoot me a mail so I can get on that!). I think channels get ~6 mods, so if it ends up that I create it then anyone who wants it (looking at you, weekend folks), let me know so the MOTD and cool stuff like that can be changed & updated.

From the looks of it Wednesday next week seems better for people; I'll throw it out there that I'll be at the Beer Authority rain or shine, and if it turns into an Eve meetup, all the better for it! So no pressure.

I'll post some stuff on my alliance forums and see what I can come up with. To the extent that anyone's got access to larger forums and groups like that, feel free to do the same.

Although, I may have to modify the 'first round's on me' policy if it's spammed in Jita local...

You know... Beer Authority was pretty convenient.. good food...ALOT of different beers... Maybe we should just make it the default meet up location and keep it simple. Thoughts?

Join in game channel "NYC Meetups" We're gonna try to have one every couple weeks. Last week was really short notice. Only a couple showed. Will try to do more promotion for next one to get a better showing. Beers and EVE always a good combination.

while i was in nyc showing my father around this weekend (he was visitng from indiana) i noticed how close to penn station beer authority was.... might be a nice location to have the next one at..... jsut my 2 isk worth

MOTD is updated, and Oberyon you've been made an operator as well.

Won't be able to make the Sept 6th one, but count me in for the next weekday one. Speaking of which, the "schedule" has that falling on Sept. 17th (Wed) or Sept. 18th (Thurs). I can swing either of those; if they don't work for you, speak up here or by mailing me. Date will be set ~2weeks ahead of time based on the best fit (fewest 'no's)
