In the wee little thread about SOMER, I spied the keystrokes of a FuryBot.

Now, some of us have been clumsily carrying along, trying to replace the finesse and speed of FuryBot.. but to no avail.

Some of us have even discovered FuryBot's versatility and depth, such as his knowledge of quality knives.




Inquiring minds want to know.

Will the FuryBot return to his native habitat (GD) again? Will the ISDs breathe a sigh of relief now that the technological marvel of friendly forum redirection will be there as a safety net? Will Doc and Tippia be placed into a particle accelerator to create an entirely new subatomic particle.. one that analyzes and responds to a troll post before it is even posted? Will he ever take off those shades?

I misread that at first as a FurryBot

Is this a bot that pretends to be a furry? Who would be into such a thing.

Your mind may be on furries.. and I don't blame you one bit.. but Fury is a bit different. Sure, he is still a sub-1.0 version product, but he has big dreams, and of course sometimes he made mistakes.


Sometimes he is a man of few words.


His speed and tenacity can garner a tempered response, maybe an apology, an ISD followup, an unexpected thank you, and even tears..

Doc has indeed returned for a while at least, there is much of Dog's work that remains undone.

There are only 2 things within the Fury compound that could be considered "furry".

Words cannot describe my shock when I resubbed two months ago and found a fury-less eve waiting for me.

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

This actually exists. It consists of writing a statement in such a way that it could be trolling or not trolling, depending on who and how it is perceived.

Such uncertain statements are also a great way to determine the way someone thinks by how they respond (baiting with confirmation bias).

Did you mean respond to or become a troll post? They are already expert at generating troll replies.

Trolling is not a line, it is a continuum. By meeting trolls head on instead of circumventing them, Doc and Tippia could be perceived as trolling themselves. It's the hazard of being a vigilante. Sure, we can count on the Commissioner Gordons and Inspector Lestrades of GD (ISD), but some people will always think that Batman and Sherlock are criminals.

But I do notice UaE has been a bit scarce, and given his dreams of being a moderator, he might have been able to get his application accepted.
