That's a key insight OP. To discuss with them, you'd have to establish some agreed upon vocabulary terms. Electricity. Technology. Economy. Government (as opposed to Rule). Human rights. Rights in general. The concept of Individualism. ("You mean, in the future, everybody is worried and complaining about their own personal situation?" ::Raised eyebrows, prolonged mumbling discussions. Your cue to get the hell back to the 21st century before something goes very bad for you, ye stranger.... ::)

though, on the surface this is extremely noble...but, if you had done this, on the long term it maybe would have turned out to be a terrible and horrible mistake. just think how many more people there would be around. if all those that died young had been saved had lived...fast forward to the present day and the population problem we have currently...might seem very miniscule in comparison to what it would've been had all those multitudes grown up and reproduced over the generations.

Oh, I thought of another one.
