Manufacturing / Researching UI Will Not Accept Blueprints

Hey folks,

Running into an issue with the new manufacturing UI, namely that the blueprints I have access to will not show up in the summary window in order to start the job.

Circumstances:

  • The blueprint is in my hangar.
  • The materials for the blueprint are in my hangar (not that it matters, this is the case for researching as well).
  • The blueprint shows up in the Blueprints list in the Industrial screen.

Symptoms:

  • Dragging the bluprint to the "Please install blueprint" window does nothing.
  • Right clicking on the blueprint and selecting "Use Blueprint" does nothing.
  • Reopening the Industry page does not resolve the above issues.
  • What does resolve the above issues (albeit temporarily) is moving the blueprint to a ship hold, and then back to my item hold. At this point, all blueprints become available.

Anyone else experiencing this?

You just need to left click the BP and it will automatically add it to the square section above. ;)

If it still doesn't work, I'm at a loss as to a possible fix. I haven't had this problem.

I have the same issue, this workaround worked for me.

1) With the blueprint in your Item Hanger,
2) Right click the BP and select "use blueprint"
3) The industry window should open with the BP installed.
