Actually for the most part you can do your own things, as long as you're killing bad guys on a regular basis. If I had to choose, I'd rather be a CFC member than be a Gevlon pet.

Shooting 100% straight with you, that's exactly what kept me from applying to any of the GSF corps for a long time. After a couple of people that I know from my first days in Eve joined ENL-I and informed me of the chill nature and general hilarity involved in most of the CFC's daily goings on, I decided to give it a go. Needless to say, I regret nothing, other than letting my biased view keep me out for longer than was really necessary.
I've only been here for a short time, and I can already say that even if GSF were to get curbstomped and lose all of their space tomorrow, I'd still be here, and probably will be until the servers go dark.

To be honest I've only ever heard of 3 of the alliances that make up this Gevlon funded coalition. I'm pretty sure none of them own space.

I realized that I honestly do not care about petty sovereignty politics anymore.
