No kidding, RvB banned Catalysts and Talos and CODE decided not to compete

At first I thought CCP Fozzie was pulling an epic troll but it turned out that CODE at least didn't show up at all... real reason unknown.

I'm not sure I would go that far, since we didn't get to see them fight at all, so can't say they are bad at it.

It is pretty disappointing though that they just didn't show like that. Not really an act worthy of much respect.

Ya know, thought occurs maybe I should get some folks in our alliance together with a fleet of procurers with a variety of drones. Might be an interesting fight.

A friend of mine got to witness firsthand one of the Code members during some PVP action.

I forgot if he said if it was a 0.6 or a 0.7 system, but his Hulk survived. It was the Goons' advice from back during the Hulkaggeddon days I passed on that saved his ship (the fit he used).

I've sat cloaked and watch them gate camp in Pynekastoh (lowsec) in T3's. Not my style of pvp, but for gate campling they were quite effective.

So no respect out of their decision, but it doesn't really prove anything about their pvp skills, at least to me. It proves a fair bit about their own pride in what CODE. stands for. It seems they don't even have respect for it.

they banned cats, and its over. honestly shame on you RvB, Shame!

seeing a talos/Cat comp on a tourney would have been refreshing. and given their gank, it could probably lead to some interesting results, but now we will never know. :(

It's not that RvB banned Cats. It's that CODE tried to ban weapons. When they realized RvB would be able to shoot back...

12 members of CODE have been online in the last couple hours busy suicide ganking, showing up on the KB's, but given a month to prepare the entire alliance can't be asked to show up for a tourney that, win lose or draw, would bring them good publicity and new members, and they even took the extra step to act like a bunch of schlepps about it.

Thinking beyond warping in, ctrl-clicking and hitting F1 is just too much to expect of them, apparently.
