New industry manufacture screen - cost of resources/sale price

I generally like the new industrial GUI, but one thing that puzzles me:

If you hover over the resources required for a job, or the outcome, it gives you a "total estimated price". Does anyone know where it's pulling those numbers from?

For instance, for trit, it seems to be giving me a price which works out to ~5.56 per unit. The regional average for Lonetrek (where I am), is no where near that high. It's more like 5.20 or so. Likewise it's not what you can buy in the current system or station (which would almost make sense since you can right click on the resource and "Buy this Type" and it'll set up a market order for you).

Is it some sort of global average then? Is there any way to have it pick a different number? The cost estimation is almost useful, but I still need to break out a spread sheet to get the actual cost. If I could peg it to the regional X day average, or mineral prices from jita from Eve Central, or historical data about what I've bought resources for lately, then it would actually be useful (at least a little bit).

And if any devs are listening, it would be nice if the final "total estimated price" incorporated in the job cost/taxes. Manually doing the math isn't hard, but I'm lazy :P Likewise, if we can't change the unit price it's using, at least show it in the pop up so I know how off base the estimation is.

Global average over something like 30 days, with some magic added so it won't be swayed by big spikes.

I figured as much. Those are probably the same numbers they use to calculate station tax and the like.

Shame it's just not actually a useful number at all XD
