People are becoming more health-conscious, and with pedometers and smartphones becoming integrated with every day life, I was thinking EVE is an obvious area of improvement for physical activity.

You've probably heard of the walking desk aka the treadmill desk, and the application is obvious--how fast you run determines your ship's maximum speed. I think it's an excellent idea and I plan to build a similar prototype.

But I think there's another way to integrate biometric input with EVE: an input device to determine whether you hold point.

just a thought. input devices are trending.

So if I get a wheelchair and sit on this treadmill desk and play EVE, will people hate me more?

EVE players dislike people who take shortcuts, Brock. I suppose you want to use ISBoxer as well?

EVE players dislike it when people come by and blow up their crap.

As for EVE players disliking shortcuts, that is false, everyone trying to make a quick buck in the game.
