Visual effect for DC

A visual effect for Damage Controls, that would be a small mix of armor+shield hardeners.

Just because, more visuals!

Idea withdrawn because people are annoyingly good at making good, valid points P

But it's not passive, so why not give it a visual effect? That doesn't affect balance unlike making it passive

Isn't a Damage Control more of an mod for "internal" systems (because it primarily affects hull)? Why would something that reinforces internal things show up on the hull?

one, it needs to be a passive mod, already tis cap use is so low it may as well be.

two, visuals for the sake of visuals is visual clutter, which is an eyesore, as theya re, most fo the module-based visual effects (talkin sebos and whatnot) are annoying, especially when en masse. last thing i need is every ship going trippy colors from hardeners

Came here expecting some sort of visual effect for players being offline, but still in space. Found damage controls instead. Very disappointing.

I would approve of all the lights on your ship going out when you disconnect or log out with timers.

Hahaha, yeah, that would be something ... Incursion fleet .. Logi - 'lights out', start tumbling °° Or in wrap together - lights out - slowly drifts of course and then veers of into some celestial mass dragging it out of the warp tunnel Big smile

Being afk should have downsides.

Be there to activate DCU on your orcas.

Also s module that strong should not be passive.

Use bulkheads if you want passive.
