Disapperaing missiles on NPC-DED Stations

Here is what i've experienced.

Whenever you do a higher grade DED (10/10 or 8/10) or Fleet Staging Point you have to shoot a Station to get the juicy loot.

I am doing all that in a Heavy Missile fitted Tengu, solo or with a buddy who also noticed it.
Fine until it gets to the point where you have to fight the station.
So far ive experienced that issue in a Centus Assembly T.P. Co., in The Maze, and in Dread Guristas Fleet Staging Point.

All those Stations have a Badass Buffertank which is pretty easy to break with abou 600 DPS.
And here is the catch:

Whenever I shoot them, some of the Missile Volleys completely disappear after one second of flying.

I usually stay at 55km on the Station, they all web on 50km.
My missile range is 101km, so the range fits.

I dont see any effects that the station fires Defender missiles or smartbombs which could kill a full volley of 6 missiles.
When i was doing the sansha and gurista 10/10 i noticed though, that the problem is decreasing when you get closer to the station.

It almost stopped at about 2km from the Station, the further you get away, the less mssiles reach their target.

Also (may be coincidence) when i fire the missiles from a certain spot (45° right or left from the station front) they seem to hit far more often, and when i hit from 0° station front direction they almost never hit.

So, ... bug? hidden space ninja defender missiles?
Did anyone else experience it?

I can only say, that its pretty annyoing to shoot almsot 60 minutes and 6k T2 heavy missiles on a station that could easily be killed with a turret/sentrydrone ship of the same DPS in 10 minutes or less.

On average I'll have about a dozen or so ham volleys not report any hit damage from under 10km range. I notice it, but it hasn't been a huge bother. I'd be far more concerned if that was happening in PVP

Every so often a volly on my RHML seems to vanish and not hit when shooting pve targets. I cant say anything about pvp.

The Bastion module has (still to this day since Rubi launched, can we fix, plix?) a similar glitch where any volleys in flight when it's turned on or ends cycle apply no damage. Previous and subsequent shots are unaffected. Tested this on every missile type and launcher type I could short of RHML IIs, since I can't use tech 2 rapid heavies. Thank God it's only four missiles, but it means I have to time my shots with bastion cycles...more annoying than you'd think.

To be clear, do your missiles visually disappear when this happens, or do they impact but have no damage applied?

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

Just a theory, but do those volleys just happen to disappear when the station gives off it's citadel torp volley? Is it possible that the explosion could be destroying the missiles? No idea, I haven't run one in quite a while.
