The game your trying to play doesn't exist, if you want to be left alone when missioning fly a marauder.

If you want single player or coop, there are games for that. This is not one of them.

I feel your pain. I was once a dedicated missioner, too. I remember when the evil ninjas would pop into my mission space and salvage my hard earned wrecks and steal my loot. The nerve of them! It got so bad I actually had to move to another system with another slightly lower quality level 4 agent of my prefered NPC corp.

If a fight is fair, someone was ill prepared.

While I totally support missioners in getting more variety in missions, more engaging stories and arcs and rewards, etc. this is not carebear online, this is Eve Online, a ruthless universe in which Concord does not provide security, but consequences.

Remember kids, the only unfair fight is the one you don't win. If you're looking for a fair fight? You're not going to find one here. Even miners don't fight fair. Terrible exhumers using lasers to cut defenseless asteroids for profits.

And as for missioning in peace? Why not just learn something, and not shoot people who steal from you. Or better yet, run a ship with a lower signature radius and make it harder to scan down.

Or... just find something more suited to your skills... ...or lack thereof.

I would say I am a carebear in almost every sense of the word.

I'm horrible at PvP -fought three fights, lost three fights.
I immerse myself into a game and its back story
I pick sensible names as opposed to "mad8ballcokendakken4win" (no offense wierd named ones)
I enjoy roleplaying
I try to exclusively PvE
I am completely happy with Captains Quarters and can't wait to see the rest of what walking in stations has to offer.
I want to see the implementation of crew, crew management, and crew experience.
I got caught sleeping on my scanners last month and was jumped by a Tengu in .4 while flying a punisher and well... got punished.

With all that being said I can absoultely say I Absolutely Can Not Support this.

Being hit at anytime and anyplace is what makes Eve Eve.

It is things like what Vlad said here that make me smile. Because despite his best efforts to remain a carebear, he still accepts the fact that New Eden is an ever-changing, unpredictable and cold place. To be perfectly honest, I wish more of the carebears could see this line of thinking more clearly without having to have someone forcibly extract their cranium from their rectum.

For all extensive purposes, no matter what anyone says, in any society, there will always be degenerates, sociopaths, murderers, and all forms of other criminals. It's human nature which is created by our inherent free will.
