Does anyone know why the Goonswarm isn't as super aggressive about defending their turf anymore?? I've made a few incursions into their space and have been met with little resistance. All I kept hearing about upon my return from my hiatus was how aggressive they are in defending their space.. but I have ran into little or nothing :(

A: most are busy handling serious space-business elsewhere.
B: go ahead and take a whack at the sov in Deklein, as opposed to just motorboating around in a couple of cruisers, then let me know what the response looks like.
C: you won't do B, because sov mechanics currently suck, and acting as an individual nets you precisely zero chance of taking even a single system, even if we didn't respond.

They only really get aggressive when you stand a realistic chance of doing some damage to their space. So maybe join a real alliance? *shrug*

Me too, was looking forward to some new Stalinist-era recruiting posters. Or a new sing-along jingle on Youtube. Or maybe even a Goon marching anthem, perhaps performed by the London Philharmonic or the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. But I guess we're still in the summer low-pop, low-energy, low-creativity slump....
