Market manipulation of Tags for Sec - by James 315 ???

What's going on with the tags for -10 to -5?

CODE's DJ guy bought all my tags way above normal price in Jita. Some other guy that does heaps of ganking bought me out in Hek and Dodixie.

Have they got something planned? Or just trying to resell high to suckers that don't know the prices?

Shhhh, top secret plans are in the works. I have literally cornered the market on Clone tags, and for .... reasons.... am sitting on a pile of about 6,300 of them. More details will be made clear in the near future.

That wasn't the Saviour, that was me. Me and DJ O. I bought 2000 tags, DJ bought a lot more (like 5k+) I think.

Supply has exceeded demand on those tags for a long time. DJ O and I have reason to suspect that demand may increase in the near future with little to no change to supply.

I will not be marking tags up for newbie gankers. The buyup was to ensure no interruption of supply, nothing else.

Of course, people using tags for other reasons might encounter higher prices.

Looks like a really bad attempt at creating demand when supply is already much higher than current needs.

Theoretical: A Whole bunch of guys go -10 and NEED those tags.
Practical: No one goes below -5 because of the system limitations and continue to buy -4.9 to 0 tag sets.

If someone is happy to operate in hi-sec with -5 to -10 then whatever *might* happen wont effect them. They are already marginalising the system for free.
