We all know that defending a plex gives crap for lp for farming reasons

Could we get a boost for pvp kills in a defensive plex though?

It cant be farmed and holding a system from players should give a bit more so people actually want to pvp?

Call me crazy if you have to, but seriously theres little incentive to hold a system above simply docking, giving a boost to lp for kills in a system you are trying to hold would be a good idea to get more people into pvp and not just farming retards.

thoughts?

or just change it to 50% payout for deplexing (unless its stable, independent of the contesting status)

edit: making it kill based is very exploitable

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

FW PvP LP rewards should be taken another glance at since their nerfage in the past.

I ate a Caracal in an Enyo just outside a friendly medium complex earlier today, which was fun. I got 1010 LP for the kill, though. I could get just as much for afk'ing in a 3% friendly novice with a Venture. It pretty much paid for my module repair bill. It's free money, so I'm not really complaining, but (especially in heated warzones) it'd be a cool mechanic for players to be given a money incentive to participate in the 'warfare' aspect of faction warfare. Not enough to where it's farmable, but 1k LP for a pvp-fitted cruiser is a disappointingly token level of reward.

I love the idea of the 24th Imperial Crusade "providing a bounty payout" for killing slaves and furthering the war effort, but right now it's pennies. In a fleet battle against the Minmatar, I'll end up getting a dozen evemails saying "thanks for fighting for us, here's 24 LP".

I like the role of neutral pirates doing their own thing - some want money, some want fights, but most importantly they're taking advantage of the opportunities that arise from two combating sides. In a sense, that's what many player corps would be, if given a lore-friendly sense: fighting for one side or the other for money. The problem though is that the biggest rewards come from babysitting timers, and next to nothing for actually fighting against the enemy side. I like the way that characters are essentially paid to advertise their presence and availability for a fight, which creates PvP / "content". It'd be nice if there was some sort of follow-up in LP afterwards, though.
