You could pull this off in an Algos.

I say that assuming that you're going after lullaby Tech I exploration frigates.

Rocket bomber every time. They're also good at popping gas huffing Ventures.

As previously stated, only ever try to hit Exploration frigates and their tech 2 variants. Never engage an Astero in a rocket fit bomber, it will end badly for you.

Rocket bomber is good enough to kill exploration frigates. Try that first.

I use a cloak Proteus or a Pilgrim for bigger targets. Just go to low sec and try to hunt there while using wspace to have quick and safe access to null or to other low sec areas. Low has many wormholes to low/null.

I know the Pilgrim has its drawbacks but i'm in love with this ship. I fly it with recons V and cloaking V, i must add.

This could work, but i know i always D-Scan any site before i warp to it, if i see a thrasher chilling there im swapping from a buzzard to something with firepower, killing you then running the site. Once there was a retribution camping a site and i had only a few PVP ships nearby so i dropped my Sin on it and then ran the site in my buzzard a few moments later.

Also cheapest and most effective ship for this is a bomber, fit dual scram, rockets, and some damage mods and you sit there cloaked in the site ready to kill whatever comes in. plus no decloak delay so its instant tackle

Imicus. It kills all the exploration frigates, site camping bombers (even several at once) and badly fit Asteros. It also has the medslots to fit 3 scrams or 2 scrams and a web.

Edit: Obviously Astero is a lot better and has the ability to sneak into scram range before decloaking.

Furthermore, I think that links must be removed from the game.
