I am not going to explain how my lack of understanding of the mechanics of this game allowed this guy to kill me so you can laugh at me. Is someone willing to kill him yes or no? I can pay.

I wont kill him for you, but I will indeed help you learn how to kill him yourself.

C&P doesnt laugh at new guys. (I can see your character is older, did you purchase it?)

Most of the personalities who inhabit this subforum are happy to educate anyone who is willing to listen.

So he didnt really screw you over then did he? He knows how to play the game and you don't. There is a big difference.

This is only true in part. If you come here crying, calling for nerfs to the game, or refusing to adapt, then yes, there is a great possibility youll get trolled (or worse, just ignored).

As I would love to point out again, the REGULARS on here are your best teachers. Feyd's programs embrace all who wish to learn with an open mind.

The CODE. guys are always accepting to new players, again as long as they are willing to learn.

I played a few years ago then I stopped and started playing again.



He wardecs my corp, and says if I duel him and give him a couple of good fights he will drop the war dec. (My corp only has newer players most barely off of their trials) He promised to pay me for my losses as he only needed kill mails for his corp for ranks or something. I agree as long as he agrees not to kill my pod. We go to amarr i fit the first ship. we fight. I have never pvped before and I as upfront about that and he told me how to fit my ship and gave me pointrs. He klls me and gives me isk for my frig. Then I go back and get the battlecruiser. We fight, i actually broke through his shield and halfway through his armor. He blows me up and I go back to the station. When I undock to go back to my wreck to loot he blows me up again and then pods me. How come he was able to blow me up again after the duel was over? He never repayed me for my battlecruiser either. And I lost all my implants and hardwirings. His las words to me are 'this makes a better killmail'



Edit: I was actually having fun during the fights and I told him that I wanted to fight him again in the future because I hadnt pvped and i like the adrenaline rush and wanted to do it again. And then he goes and does what he does and pods me.

I dont want nerfs. The game is the game. I understand that. I just want him dead.

Ok, it sounds like you still had an active limited engagement timer when you undocked again.

For future reference, it will be a blue countdown timer in the upper left of the screen. Any time you re-agress him, the timer will reset.

If I were you, I would accept the wardec. Its a great way for new players to learn about eve, and the most important lesson of all -- you are going to lose things in this game, and thats a good thing.

Never be afraid of your mistakes here as long as you learn from them.

Edit: The best place to learn without actually losing anything will be on the test server, SiSi. Lookup how to login if you are interested.

Apart from that, I wouldnt trust anyone who offers to duel you. Most of them will indeed destroy and pod you if they are able.

Ivel ost an apoc in a wormhole because i didnt bring probes. I lost 900m last week cus someone likes to suidice gank random ships. Im aware that losing stuff is apart of the game. I was aware that I was going to lose my ships in both those fights with him. I acepted that fact. But he broke his word. We agreed no killing pods. But not only did he kill my pod, he did it when I was defenseless and didnt even know it was still possible. And for that he deserves to die.

You managed to tell the story without whining about it. Not only that you display a willingness to fight back as well as to learn. So, people will help you. Like Leto said we troll those who don't want to learn but have the game changed to favor them.

I'll let Leto do the heavy lifting but I do want to say:

I still need an assassin to kill him. If you have ever seen any of Jason Statham's movies no matter what character he portrays, he operates on a moral compass of principles that guide him. Example, the movie Parker. I operate in a similar fashion off of principles. I am honest, I do not lie nor do I steal and I treat people the way I expect to be treated.


I will not be able to kill him, I do not have the skills or the knowhow to hunt him down and destroy him. But I will pay someone that does to do it for me.

Meh, either get over it or kill him yourself, Leto offered to show you the way, I suggest you take his offer, even if you dont kill him you will learn a lot.

Paying someone to do it for you is a waste IMO.

Sucker punch this guy, invite him to duel then when he thinks he's got you on the ropes warp in two logi friends rep up and kill him. Need fits and tactics, possibly friends hit us up at PoH, we'll set you on the path to PvP enlightenment.
