I'm putting up around 5500m in prizes (it's possible that not quite all of them will be awarded, as one prize is fairly unlikely to be won, but that's only two battleships), and we've had another 1550m pledged from others.


If you've followed the Hyperion changes, you'll see the incursion grinders look to be getting some major buffs in the expansion, particularly increased up-time of highsec incursions. Killing the Mothership will respawn the incursion in about 24 hours, rather than the much slower respawn now. So unless three Motherships are popped inside a day, there will always be highsec incursions active.

Obviously, this will encourage more characters to grind incursions rather than engage in conflict-driving ISK-generation activities. And it's that conflict that makes EVE worth playing.




I'm seeking expressions of interest in a ganking contest, targetting PVE boats and support ships (such as haulers, off-grid boosters, etc) in any highsec system where an incursion is in process.

If you'd be interested in participating, x up in this thread. If you'd be interested in providing support to run the contest, post what you can do here. If you'd be interested in contributing prizes, mention what you'd be willing to offer here. (Do not send me prizes - I will have a third party hold any prizes over a billion, and that third party will be one acceptable to everyone putting up prizes in that range).

If there's sufficient interest, I will put up a few billion worth of prizes.

By support do you mean prizes? I don't want your role playing rhetoric. I WANT PRIZES! These things always have prizes.

It will only be as amazing as the prizes you put up.

Maybe like a medal titled "Hyperception"
