For a long time Hull repair has been a joke skill, please correct me if i am wrong. However, would adding a 3rd Logi type to re-existing Logi ships impact the game that much?

Hull tanking has quite a lot of advantages, the maneuverability of a shield ship with the tank of an armor ship. The drawback comes with remote hull reps, both being horribly inefficient compared to their Shield/Armor counterparts in both Cap usage and repair amount.

So, would the game break if we added the Hull repair transfer range to mirror the pre-existing logi ship range?

Just an idea that i was looking into.

Don't bulkheads make the ship just as slow as plates?

Nope - they were changed to have a cargo capacity penalty instead of a velocity penalty

Hull Tanking is not meant to be a serious way of tanking, Hull Reps exist to avoid paying repair bills.

But hull tank is a serious way of tanking. You shot any bulkhead Thannies lately?

"Real men hull tank."

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

Is there any way to get your hull's resists above 60%?

When it comes to capitals, hull tanking is pretty important if you're getting spanked.
