Interesting out of pod experience,

Watching some up and coming movie trailers and found "Starship: Rising" (link below), Have a listen to the sound at 00:25... its the sound Scan probes make when warping... What?

Last thing I expected to hear during down time browsing.

They are probably part of a larger sound effects library where customers can license sound effects for a fee.

The very sun of heaven seemed distorted when viewed through the polarising miasma welling out from this sea-soaked perversion, and twisted menace and suspense lurked leeringly in those crazily elusive angles of carven rock where a second glance shewed concavity after the first shewed convexity.

It's likely a sound purchased from a library, as was mentioned.

I recall in either the science or tech stores in City of Heroes you could hear just about all of the probe/scanning sound effects in the background noises.
