Redeem PLEX for game time to another character
Activate game time for the account of another character using PLEX. This feature is designed to help those who need to keep multiple accounts active for themselves or others, and also gives anyone a simple way to use PLEX to give away game time.

thinking about how players use the game, and facilitating them. this is good

New tooltips for the Market
A new set of tool tips will add contextual help to the market.

there was a feedback request a while ago regarding margin trading scams, and i remember some posts (some were mine) saying 'provide more information, make the market mechanics less opaque, and the problem can sort itself out'. hoping some of the tooltips here'll help that?

A new kind of Level 4 missions
Take on a single, powerful enemy using fitting skills and combat tactics in new optional level 4 missions for frigate size ships that will be available from all security agents in Empire space. An upcoming dev blog will present the new missions.

i don't like missions in eve because i'm convinced the repetitive solo gameplay drives away newbies, and i don't think you're blind to that. (besides being really boring for those who stay) looking forwards to seeing where you're headed with this, and if pve can be a bit more interesting.

Lowered activation cost for 100MN Micro Warp Drives

Am I the only one amused by the Raven by the wormhole? It been a long time since I've seen a Raven in a wormhole. Golem yes, but the last time I bought a Raven to the hole the corp burst into giggles. Or are you guys thinking Black Holes going to bring the Raven back?

Glass helmets are the most important part of this patch. People asked for them since their removal in Incarna. I wouldn't be surprised if *the door* will be opened couple patches later (and that actually can make me play EVE instead of 4 other spaceship MMOs I'm playing).

The concept is a great step forward though, and hopefully we see more things detached from sovereignty in the future...

Why would SOV holders want to stop you from doing PI? They own the custom offices, and get the taxes from you. Plus they get to try and blow you up. They can stop you from doing PI easily enough by setting a 100% tax for your standings. I guess it's possible to access an existing Interbus office, but I'm not sure there are any left in NS.

I'm actually intrigued at these level 4 frigate missions, especially if they are tailored to be done in PVP fit frigates (i.e. you need a scram, and both active and buffer tanks are viable options).

If I were designing them, there'd be a small number of these agents in highsec, many more in low (and null if the storyline would allow; I'm assuming these are Empire-only for lore reasons), and the agents would only offer you one per day, so those that just want to dabble in them can stay in highsec if they want, but those that actively want to farm them can fight over the right to farm them in low.

100mn MWDs costing less cap is going to be hilarious fun. I'm not sure if this is a good change, a bad change, or (as I suspect) a good change that goes a little too far, but meh, it will be fun.

I'm also concerned at the faster incursion respawns in highsec. Incursions in high simply offer better ISK/hour than running incursions outside highsec and this is only going to get worse.

Not to worry, a level 4 mission (with level 4-esque rewards) designed to be challenging in a frigate will be a mini-iuncursions isk-printing machine for multi-boxers.

as a person with multiple gallente female characters (including a 180m SP main), THANK GOD!

First the hair pieces, second, the totally see-through plastic tops--right? RIGHT!? I HAD ONE! i want it back!

Blue hair, like, REALLY blue, needs to come back too... i had blue hair as a gallente! we NEED it!

... oh, and the overview thing is fantastic. I will no longer have a legit excuse to shoot blues. UGH.

good stuff. Instar needs more nerf.

We already have a new "kind" of level 4's doable in a bombers - they're called (caldari & Minmatar) FW missions... using a cut and paste?
Clothes.... sigh.
Tinkering with WHs.... don't care.
Tinkering with a few ships... because it adds a few lines

Only real improvement to the game looks like the linkable overview settings and remote PLEXing..... Oh joy.

Really interested in seeing the new missions! That's not something I was expecting to see, and as a frigate pilot it looks like it might be fun. :)

The Overview thing is also great.

And the clothes <3. Please, please make the tights usable under skirts and the structure dresses!

Uhm, no they can't. If you wan't to be an ******* and don't care for efficiency, you can just make sure your commandcenter is connected to your PI-network. Then you can simply use your commandcenter to slowly get at your PI in 500m³ increments.

By the way, if you don't use your own commandcenter, someone can also close you out by just closing you out. I experienced that myself while doing PI in W-Space. 100% taxes weren't enough for some people, they just denied me access outright.

Which is why I'm including those commandcenter "failsafes" now. If someone tries to stop me now, I can just avoid their taxes entirely, out of spite.

So how about fixing the cr4ppy tooltips we currently have before introducing more ?

Quote:
Now that this has been done, we will look at improving the experience with tooltips in later releases. In that regard we are looking at configuring tooltip behavior by category, which we think would allow for you to tune how tooltips display based on the relevance of the information to you.

How about getting on with doing this then, as it's still complete sh!t as it is.

Not especially...

It would be nice if you fixed the stuff you broke in the last patch, and the previous one, and not just leave it fester away in its broken state.

More new stuff = more broken stuff that never gets fixed.

Can we have pants that we can wear on our heads. That way, when the next dumb change happens (module stacking in Crius, WH spawn distance and K162 changes in Hyperion), we can have clothing to match the occasion.

Gifting game time is absolutely amazing, thank you.
