How do you like to do your killing in this game and do you have any restrictions

I had some time to kill as Im just waiting on a bootie call to appear so i thought i would ask a question (At least half of that statement is a lie).

Will you happily blob a solo noobie and accept that these things happen or do you prefer small gang pvp against a similar sized group so that it becomes a test of skill. Can you happily accept merc contracts against non pvpers and then blow them away just because they decided to mine in the wrong system. IE does anything have any influence on who you shoot.

Personally i like to play the hero or lone wolf of ******* death which is probably why im so bored of this game.

scenerios are

1. solo wardec another corp. kill one player and the rest dont undock for a week. Realise that you are just inconviencing them and ruining their game.

2. solo wardec another corp and find a dozen players all in drakes. For all you non pvpers/and blobbers the reason the drake is hated (I never want it nerfed ever) is because it takes days to get into one but to break the tank of one take either very SP intensive ships or a battleship like a geddon which is then very vulnerable to counter attack. You cant kill quickly and then get away (please dont post any gaylente fits please.

3. i dont scan down people in lowsec as its just annoying for people, although a one man gate camp can keep people on their toes.

4. i dont like killing noobs or can flipping or ruining anyones gaming experience if they truly have no pvp experience or cannot possible hope to win. but if they have been wardeced then i dont mind killing them (no noobs) if they are still doing the same stuff and not paying attention

Thats just me.

What are your rules and prefered play styles.

TLDR the question is in the title

Enemies of the Empire will meet justice.

Thats just about my rule. I wont shoot at any neutral, no matter how stupid or valuable they may be... Unless I'm in a fleet, then I do what the boss-man said.

I dont kill pilots under a month.

I do like killing people in the belts when they get stupid or I get rich enough to lose a ship in a gank.
Anything to appease Darwin.
And nothing to invoke Murphy.

I won't engage anyone in highsec that isn't at war or aggressed (I won't engage in any can flipping or other underhanded agression tactics either). Lowsec/nullsec I have no qualms, if you're there, you're fair game.

I am a null pilot. If it doesn't have a blue star or cross it dies. If it does, it's an overview bug.

The only PvP i find unpleasant is the kind I didn't consent to. Which is why I spend a lot of time in high-sec these days. Still, even getting ganked can be fun if you manage to pull off a difficult maneuver, or hold your own against superior forces, or even just die to something really cool.

I once managed to hold off a dramiel/machariel team in my lasermyrm. I could have killed the mach pilot if I had been thinking things through better. I dropped my point on him to target the dramiel, because I figured my weapons would be more effective... (lol, as if the dramiel would stay in range that long) but at the same time, he burned out his guns. If I had stayed on him, he would have popped eventually, and the dramiel would likely have fled. As it was, we fought each other for a good 10-15 minutes, until we each simultaneously realized that was plenty of time for reinforcements to arrive, and we scattered, fearing the opponents backup. I tucked into my alliance's pos, and chatted with the two pilots. We had no hard feelings, and that was one of the more entertaining fights I've been in, even if no one died.

Nice post but the truth about EVE is that almost all PvP is non concentual. And forget these neckbeards that always say "whenever you undock you consent to PvP" as its not true.

I don't shoot pods.
I don't shoot ships that can't shoot back.
I do like gang to small fleet versus the same size / ability or greater to a possible to beat them extent.
I avoid low sec.
I avoid shooting newbies.
I take guilty pleasure in killing the occasional WH farmers. Oops
I get vindictive pleasure from people station camping me as I go semi-AFK, do things on another screen and waste their time, including the occasional thing said in Local. Twisted

I follow rule #4 of EvE. Everyone is a target including yourself.

Why Can't I have a picture signature.

Also please support graphical immersion, bring back the art that brought people to EvE online originaly.

Wormhole pilots, age doesn't matter. Don't do null or low unless the alliance says we have to. In a corp thats war dec'd 100% of the time but just use alts (main is an alt these days) and don't fight in hisec.

And we have podding down to a science. We would never attack a target and not attempt to pod it.

If it's some noob in high sec: those camping gates are scouting alts so... no comment, it's high sec. In low sec: 80%+ are cyno alts or scouts: they deserve to die

In low: Not blue shoot it.

In nul: Not blue is a target. If blue but botting = report, eventually kill it with an alt

Low and null no one is neutral, every one made a choice and must assume it including my self.

I like to bait station gamers into shooting me... and then watch as an enemy blows them up and I fly in to scoop the loot.

I used to just sit at the station and watch war targets play docking games, but that got old fast. So now I try to ensure combat. Doesn't always work in my favor though.

I wouldn't mind actually fighting, but it is hard to learn when it is 1 v 1 with lots of logis (even honorable 1v1s get interrupted by logi pilots just having fun).

I have ganked miners before. Once as part of an anti-bot group and later on my own to test out a max gank dessie (turns out it could not kill the Hulk in 1.0 space... but pre patch so maybe now...). But didn't particularly like it. Rather dull.

I guess the only other time I would get into combat (willingly) is if my corps POS was attacked. Out of respect for my corpies...

NBSI here.

I like to do most of my killing solo in a tech 1 cruiser and my killing takes place mainly in low sec. Rarely in null.

I wont kill a hauler or mining ship no matter where it is at. Mission runners in their missions are off limits to me as well, but I dont have a problem killing them on a gate if I think there they are a loot piniata traveling through low sec.

Noobs are off limits. If a 1 month old character shows up in low sec I will probably warp a cloaked alt over to watch them and maybe tell them low sec isnt the safest place for them.

I havnt tried the high sec war dec thing, though I have thought about it just to see if I could get a good fight.

Can flipping is not something I would do myself, though I dont have a problem shooting at the occasional can flipper for the lulz.

When it comes to PvP, I am like a chiwawa hanging from a grizzley bears pair of wrinklies for dear life.
