Just a couple of things. The new scout sites sounds awesome for someone like me who likes enjoying the game with small groups. But is there any plans tomake the lowsec and nullsec ones worth running? Lowsec and nullsec incursions are rarely run as their payout is countered by the fact that highsec incursions can be run pvp free and therefore with better ships. I would love to see the lowsec and nullsec ones as places that attract people who wants to profit and is willing to fight for it.

Also, are there plans making l4s for cruisers as well? While it is great to see more frig content it would be nice to see something for people who enjoy the cruiser class vessels too.

I thought CCP was trying to move away from expansions with a predominantly singular focus?

Since I don't do wormholes anymore (first ~2.75 years), that doesn't leave a lot. Most of the w-space changes seem decent, other than mass-based spawning distance. As a small corp in w-space, that would have killed w-space for us.

I run level 3 missions in an Assault Frigate, for fun, so the new level 4 looks interesting.

I really like to see the return of some traditional headgear, though none of my characters would use it. I'm disappointed with the new arms being better-looking than Phanca. Strangely, of all the changes announced, these are the only ones I'm looking forward to.

The 100MN MWD capacitor change is the only generic change, possibly with the most consequences.

Why this will be frigates? My prediction is that you will lose some of them in every mission, until you will be able to minimize the amount of lost ones. The drop rate of named modules will be higher probably, and the ocassional chance for a faction module, very small, but adding to the loot factor.

As a small step to ease the use and discovery of these character services, we will introduce new items that can be purchased from the New Eden Store that can be activated for character re-sculpting or multiple character training. These items can also be traded on the market.

Given this release is only 15 days away, when do we get the dev blog that details the nerfs to incursions? And yes, I am not talking about improvements to the scout sites or the removal of the NCN wall, but I am referring to seagull's comments about changes to enemies and rewards.

I hope you allow male characters to wear the tights and high heels.

This is unlikely. Not because of any prejudice or because of any lingering preferences one way or the other, but because the geometry of the 3-D models is different between males and females. In order to make this possible, they'd have to build a whole new set of clothing. This is quite a bit of work for a niche that is, frankly, very small, at least in the unironic usage.

Awesome stuff !

The only thing im worried about is the size of the patch... I got some seriously crappy internet here ( on vacations).

These changes all look good!

I say good job on the balance for WH space, I do like all the changes there, including the mass/distance relation, and the new frigate size non collapsable WH type.

I especially like that the few HAC changes look to be really gradual, and the new release pattern will allow to adjust the dials again if needed.

Overview sharing is awesome.

Having the PI in Null detached from sovereignty is a great step. I can totally see ninja implantation using black ops and covops transports, but the risks will be huge and it may force sovereignty holders to patrol all of their spaces
The concept is a great step forward though, and hopefully we see more things detached from sovereignty in the future...

Looking forward to this release!!

Looks like a good mix. I'm looking forward to the new mission dev blog. I hope you need a point to hold them down.

maybe CCP could send you a few files in floppy disks per mail to prepare for the patch

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

Looking forward to the stockings! But most important I am very glad that some of the legacy racial clothing options are coming back to our heads! Smile

I have one question: Is the headgear tied to the depicted hair dresses? What happened to the yellow “Kill Bill” cat suits?

A new kind of Level 4 missions

Take on a single, powerful enemy using fitting skills and combat tactics in new optional level 4 missions for frigate size ships that will be available from all security agents in Empire space. An upcoming dev blog will present the new missions.

first i was like "that sounds interessting".

but then i realized "in Empire space". why? i dont want to go to empire space :(

i havent done any pve for income for 4? years now. what came closest o "fun" was doing the guristas epic arc. i mean its as boring as every mission. move to agent, click ok, follow autopilot, kill everything until mission says "done", return to agent, get bacon. in one case i had to actually read what i have to do because mission was not done after i killed everything Sad.

but the almost fun part was to do this in a crow (and in a talwar after my crow exploded to some kind of ae damage) in potential pvp enviroment.

I would very much like to see a brief 'concept level' dev blog describing your goals around module tiericide before the main event kicks off with the hundreds of module changes listed. There will undoubtedly be a lot of focus on individual items and the broader picture will be blurred.

Zappity's Adventures for a taste of lowsec and nullsec.

When will you be starting with module tiericede mentioned a while ago? No need to do all at once, just start with some easy module groups and spread the effort over multiple patches.

Well, Empire space does include LowSec, so I suggest to wait and see.

If by interesting, you mean crash LP stores, then yes. Also, buy tags now.

Bit premature to say that unless you know what the reward structures are going to be like, no?

I guess this means I need to get around to finishing that new mission devblog eh? Big smile
We'll be getting the blog out for you all as soon as possible. I think people are really going to enjoy them.

I think this is an excellent idea, and we'll probably also discuss the plan and concepts for module tiericide on the Alliance Tournament stream over the next four weekends.
