60 day trials permanently?

I was just wondering if CCP intends to make the 60 day trials permanent? Reading their message it sounds like they're considering it.

Personally, I think this would be a great idea. The 60 day trial was what encouraged me to activate my own account and purchase a plex after years of just being "interested".

For some people 14-21 days isn't enough for them to really get into EVE. Some need a little more time to catch on or get a better feel for it.

I think it would also be nice if there were some sort of rewards like the buddy program for people who gave the code to someone who activated their account although I can see maybe why they're not giving out any rewards right now.

Perhaps, they could limit each paid account to one 60 day trial code a month (no stacking?) that way it wouldn't be heavily abused for throw-away alts.

Thoughts? Input from Devs/GMs maybe?

I think you misunderstood. I'm not asking if the trial codes we're getting now are permanent but if the 60 day program as a whole, might be in the future.

Ah I understand, I think that would cut into the profits CCP needs so much right now they couldn't give us real xmas presents like they used to every year Sad
