This one discusses infantry weapons.

Dunno how an assault rifle with 55m range will play out.... Not really a rifle at that point ya know. Seems like they're attempting to translate the eve mentality of combat to an FPS. Also they discuss cpu/power in ability to carry weapons kits for infantry. Which only makes sense for armored suits. For people make more sense to have weight restrictions.

But real money is in the game play so wait and see.
