Option to turn off forced camera pan on fitting/ship preview window

Since a recent patch, every time I open the ship fitting and ship preview windows, the camera will now force pan the ship to a 3/4 view and be unresponsive to mouse commands until it's done. What's the point of this?

Sure, sitting through it once is no big deal, but putting up with it a few thousand times gets old fast. Why can't I do something as simple as look at my ship the way I want to? Even an option to toggle that view by default but turn off the damn panning would be great.

From now on, as a rule, can we just stop with the game forcing what are supposed to be optional actions upon players? The original screen hogging tooltips on top of everything were bad enough already. There's no need to do more of that kind of no opt-out "features" going forward.

To be blunt, it's annoying as **** when you're switching T3 subsystems around and every single subsystem change is a new pan to wait for.

Come to think of it, it's annoying as **** all the time.

May as well get use to it, and not just this "feature no one asked for nor told was on its way". CCP has had a nasty habit of doing such things and doing them in such a manner and often. Broke or not, it WILL get "fixed" sooner or later excluding sometimes those things that could really use a fix. Just be glad it's not worse than it is.
