My most treasured asset...

Edit 2: This thread isn't really about most treasured possesions, but about the fact that my shares are treasured because of the epic event that spawned them. I was looking to see who is still around that remembers the adventures of inno. Also, there is some really cool EVE history covered in his adventures (first titan built for one). Check it out!

2 shares in a corporation called "INNOMINATE NEUTRALITY"

Randomly checked my shares tab today and saw those 2 shares sitting there and it brought back a whole load of great memories. Quite honestly, the one asset in this game that I wouldn't give up for anything.

Edit: Because a lot of people have no idea what I'm talking about

This was way back in 2006, but is a great read. Truly a part of EVE's history

Personally, I'd say they were priceless. Wouldn't sell them for 100 billion.

It's not (only) a lack of recognition, it's just no one cares about what corps you have shares in.

I never knew he made a corp. Then again, I never followed his story that closely. (Long thread was loooooong)

I'm still convinced it was all an elaborate isk-generating scam. Charm & befriend everyone on all sides, and take their loot.

The guy vanished into the ether right after selling all those shares.

He was one heck of a storyteller, though. Good times reading those megaposts. Bear

Mine would be the 120 odd end ships I've built. Though im sure in mordern battlefield majority of those ships no longer have a place.

I have shares there too and like with you,i consider them priceless Big smile

Not because they are worth something but because Inno gave me hours of entertaining while i was reading his story. I also saw that some said they think it was a scam. Well,it might have been a scam but if it was im happy. Honestly his writing and stories made it worth every ISK i gave to him, scam or not.

And since so many dont have any clue what he is talking about:

I'm really surprised people don;t get the reference. Hold on to those shares.

I'm glad some people still remember (and have some shares). Ive added the links to the first post for those who have no idea what I'm talking about.
I was never decided on whether it was a 'scam' or not, but I decided that the money paid was payment for services, as the story gave me a great laugh.
I've started re-reading the whole thing, and it has me laughing out loud again.

I like my Proteus the most (I know, this is going to have some serious emotional responses from the other ships I have). I rarely even fly the thing but I like it. Completely pimped it out too. that would be the secondary reason I don't fly it much.P I think I have nearly 3 billion tied up in that thing. The fit looks nice on EFT though.

I don't even know why I like that ship so much. I guess it was a personal mile stone for me at the time.

I'm thinking it's probably been 8 months since I've so much as undocked in it. Maybe longer.

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

My most treasured "asset" is the memory of messing up the "Crielere project" station construction event by getting my Iteron MK V ( I travelled all the way there in the MK V, before nanos, before MWDs, before warp to zero. Think it was 80+ jumps) stuck inside a construction ring when everyone formed a queue to fly through it (It was the first seen construction ring in the game I believe).

No idea what happened, I flew halfway through and then everything went wonky and I was just flipping back and forth like an angry finger being waggled at a naughty child.

Local exploded. Lol

Damn that was a long time ago, think we still had the old radar..I miss that, as useless as it was.

Let us just turn this into a "my most valued asset" thread. Items that have memorable value to you that you would not trade or sell for anything. Perhaps not even use. Not because they are unique items, but because of how you acquired them or where or through which circumstances.

Mine would have to be an incursus I won on a goon radio contest a long time ago. Wouldn't trade it for anything, it just showed me how lucky I can be. Sometimes.
