Hi,
What is the best POS for moon mining? I mean Caldari, gallente, ....?

I haven't got that much eperience with POSes but having shot a few, here's what I can tell you:

Depends what else you're doing besides moon mining.

For pure moon mining you'd probably end up with gallente for its silo bonus.

However if it's a really valuable moon, you'll want either minmatar or amarr for their damage bonuses and higher powergrid figures.

If you want to react the stuff it will again be either gallente or amarr, if it's research - gallente or caldari (since mining is in done in dread in supercap territory, you probably won't be as interested in the jamming bonus, and pos missiles are crap).

If you are doing reactions you may want to look at Caldari towers depending on what kind of reactions you are doing.

In actual practice, the availability of fuel is a very important factor. If you set up in Gallente space and have access to a Gallente Ice system for mining free fuel, you'd have to have a really really good reason to pick another race's tower.

If this is not a concern I'd pick either Amarr or Minmatar for their defensive bonuses. Silo size is not really a concern.

Try out various setups with various towers in EVEHQ and see what you end up with.

Gallente Towers are technically "the best" for moongoo stuff, due to the bonus to silo size. However, since they're not exactly the best towers for not DIAF really fast, you have to weigh out how safe the local area is (also fuel and stuff).

There is no such thing as free fuel...
Just because you mine it yourself, doesn't mean that it's free.
Even if you have gallente ice near you, it's no reason for using gallente towers - you might as well sell that ice and buy the one you need for your tower (and even make some isk in the process, as recently the gallente ice has been a bit more expensive than the others).
