Ice processing oversight? Stront return penalty for large stacks?

Overall I've very much enjoyed the Industry changes that Cruis brought to us, but I think I found something you guys missed.

During the testing of Crius and the implementation of applying material discounts to large batches it was determined to be a bug that production of items that required ship hulls and modules as a part of their production had the discount applied to the T1 items causing you to consume less ships or modules than would be produced. (ie you'd build 100 T2 frigs but only need 70 T1 frig hulls for the job) Changes were made to the code so that items that required 1 unit of an item would not have the material discount applied to them and you'd always need the same number of T1 hulls or modules as T2 items you were producing.

Today I was about to refine some ice for the first time in probably 2 years and I noticed that I was going to receive less Strontium than I had units of ice to refine. I realized that my stack of ice was having the reprocessing rates applied to the entire stack of ice and thus reducing the amount of Stront I was going to get from it. I did some testing and realized that a single unit of ice would still give me my single unit of Stront, presumably because the formula rounds up and/or won't return a value less than 1. I also realized that I could refine large quantities of ice as single units and get the full Stront value of the stack if I bothered to unstack it first, a major inconvenience but worth doing if Stront is really all you're after. (ie my stack of 100 ice only returned 70 Stront, but 100 units of unstacked ice returned the full 100 units of stront even when reprocessed at the same time)

So I'm wondering if no one noticed this or if it's intentional? I'd like to assume that it's just an oversight and that the formula for reprocessing will be updated to always return the full value of items that return 1 unit of an item similar to how T2 production requires the full value of items that are required in single units.

shouldn't this be sent to CCP via ticket not on the Forums?

I did a quick search on the forums and didn't see any posts here about the issue so I wasn't sure if anyone had even noticed it before. I figured I'd bring it up here to see if anyone had some knowledge of CCP addressing the issue previously that I couldn't find before bothering with a ticket. A ticket only informs CCP about it, the forums inform the players too. History has proven that the EVE community is far more capable of getting CCP to fix things than ticket submissions are :)

He's right, if you actually think it's a bug, report your own thread for closure and file a petition.

Every new release has a Feedback thread associated with it too. It should go there or in a support ticket. Screenshots help too.
