I'm always ambivalent about that guy. Unashamedly and admittedly extremely mercantile commercial. But so amazing talented, and so many contributions to the very best music from a certain era. Here he is backboning and brillianting Brian Eno "No One Receiving." with some kind of groove syncopation you might not expect from him. And here, making "King's Lead Hat" root of a move and something for a generation of drummers to work on move from. And then, there's brilliant songwriting and lyric vocals in mid-term Genesis ("Your Own Special Way"). I've read that he was a teen drum prodigy in the studio for The Beatles as well.

Alright, I suppose I can grow up and forgive him for "selling out" and making some bucks along the way. Smile
