I just bought a new dress and am extremely disappointing in having to wear pants with it, waste of money and seriously turns me off from purchasing anything again.....

Best part about eve is all the freedom and crap you can do, swearing, trolling, etc., the only respectable mmo I've played that doesn't bring me down by trying to be child friendly. Even if people wanted to walk around in underwear, it would still be in the spirit of the game to allow it. And on that note, is anything truly wrong with a bathing suit? This is the first time I've bothered to take an interest in this new cosmetic part of the game and its a pretty big downer.

One other thing, on a side note, why not let us alter the colors on garments? Its kinda sad when a game puts the same outfit with 15 different color schemes so they can advertise "diversity". If you want people to invest in this stuff, give us a good reason to.

We just changed the Sanctity dresses so they can now be worn without bottom Smile Should be on Sisi now.
And before you ask: no, we are not going to change the Rocket dress P

(sorry if someone has already said it in the thread, I haven't read all)

Edit: this thread really belongs in "Features & Ideas Discussion"... I must admit that I was rather confused by that first post (and I'm even the one who has been putting the assets into the character creator) Oops

Funny how there's no issue with every player in the game seeing their own (or others') avatars in underwear but there's a sudden moral issue (I guess?) when it comes to wearing a low-cut dress. How about actually spending some Dev time giving the rocket dresses a "tuck" option to cover the pelvis if this is your concern? Or isn't there actually anyone working in CCP now who has the skills to modify the original mesh? Roll

it's a top that's a bit long, not a low-cut dress (maybe the wording is confusing). Basically the same with the Sanctity dress, it was designed as a top to go with bottoms, but we feel that it does work on its own and you guys really want to wear it like that so we are changing it to allow you that.

Edit: that text above does not mean that we are changing the Rocket dress, I'm talking about the Sanctity dress, sorry Oops

If so then for that I'm sorry if I was unappreciative of the changes made, but (at least for me) the Rocket dresses were exactly what inspired my excitement for the change at all. When a friend messaged me linking to your post saying "I think your dream may have come true" and I come and read every dress changed except Rocket ..... *dies inside*

In case you are interested, the clothing assets were made as sets...
  • Rocket dress, Strut pants and Corsair heels
  • Sanctity dress, Poise pants, Mitral boots
  • Impact jacket, Strider pants, March boot
  • Curate coat, Rider pants, Ascend boots

but you are of course free to mix and match the way you want to Smile

I'm all for bottomless dresses. The Rocket dress should be no exception I think, though I don't know what it looks like.

I directly quoted your comment about the Rocket dress, then clearly addressed it yet again in my second post. Unless you have a horrendous grasp of English then I don't understand how you could have misunderstood. Building hopes up, dropped them down again, then up again, then down again.

Let me demonstrate to you now the absolute hypocrisy in your decision CCP karkur.

I cannot wear my Rocket Dress ingame without pants however I can freely look at my own and other people's avatars in nothing but underwear. I can freely post (ingame or forums) this, this and this and this and even this without violating any of the EULA. The list goes on. Yet for some reason you decline to modify the very dress which inspired the push for change to begin with.
