Just a reminder, it is 2 days before the deadline and 88/400 have joined the Ludus Gallicus corporation on singularity with a few pending applications waiting on corp stasis and a few that have still not dropped roles.

You can quit your corp instantly on sisi without waiting on stasis as long as you do not try to drop roles first.

I may have in error rejected a few applications to the corp so if you think you were rejected and still registered, re-apply and I will get with you, we had some database issues which is still in effect so we are using a backup database for the participants.

Just some more stuff to spice up the pot. Its not on the prize page yet but CCP Falcon has added these to the top 3 prizes.

1st place

  • EVE Second Decade Collector’s Edition
  • EVE Source Limited Edition

2nd place

  • EVE Source Standard Edition
  • EVE Second Decade Collector’s Edition Mystery Code

3rd place

  • EVE Source Standard Edition
  • EVE Second Decade Collector’s Edition Mystery Code

I am sure CCP Falcon can verify this when he sees this post for anyone that might question it.

Today is the last day to sign up to Ludus Gallicus on singularity. If you are having any issues and or not in the alt corp you will not be allowed to participate. If you are having any issues, eve mail me or convo me in game. I have helped a few people so I am more lenient with people that contact me instead of just flat don't show up.

Edit: If you do apply on Friday, I will accept your application into LG but only if you have no stasis or the stasis will be up before the 9th.

I was impressed how so many pilots formed up into fleets and worked to stay one step ahead of the hunters. You certainly made our jobs a lot harder than we expected. Good job to all!

I'm proud of the central organizing committee who worked on this for so many hours over several weeks/months. They did a splendid job, and I was happy to have been a part of this. And thank you CCP Falcon, CCP Leeloo, and all of CCP who helped to make this a memorable event.

Can't wait for next year. ;)

Simply wow, amazing event! I can only imagine the amount of time you guys put in behind the scenes to make this work. And I was impressed by how smooth it went considering the number of things happening at the same time not to mention the sheer number of people you were dealing with. The stream didn't pay it full justice but anyone who participated knows how fun it was. So huge thanks to everyone that was involved in making this happen and creating something so utterly epic for the EVE community to enjoy. Thank you!

That was really on a scale I was not prepared for, amazing job setting this up and preparing for it.

Your overseers certainly didn't make it easy. That was legitimately terrifying seeing an overseer sabre land on grid.

Notrious Guristas Fleet Commander, The Dread Pirate Ex Omega is disappointed in the unwillingness of Capsuleers involved in this spectacle to apprehend her and receive their Prize of a Bounty in the form of a PLEX and a Rattlesnake Class Battleship to commemorate destroying her Gurista's Flagship along side her fleet of pirates.

She expects better from you. Really. Gods indeed.

- That said, thanks for everyone for coming out and spending a few hours with your friends at Repercussus Corp and Razor Alliance blowing up internet spaceships for fun and profit!

I had a lot of fun. But wanted to perhaps give a suggestion? The feedback form didn't have a box for that :D

In the end it was just a "run away" game of gtfo everywhere you landed, and mostly from overseers, more or less ignoring anyone else. I was hoping for a more balls deep PvP thing.

I had 2 ideas that may help for that either independently or together. Both are to encourage more PvP between players and let overseers take a back seat.

1). Have a hard time limit. At that time everyone alive gets the prizes pooled and evenly distributed. Overseers don't really get involved unless agressed.

If the difference between 1st and 2nd prize are big enough, and i think it was. I think the most kith and kin group will be killing each other left right and center. And groups will be very active in killing other groups, since there is a lot to be gained by getting rid of others. Even your own team mates.

2). Have 2 sets of leaderboards. Last man standing. And a "most kills" or "most kill points" leaderboard.

The details could shift the emphasis. For example points could be distributed to all on the killmail thereby discouraging larger groups.

Anyway, just a thought but I guess it depends on what the emphasis is. Really appreciate the hard work that goes into things like this.

That was the initial goal was, Hunters would be mostly hands off in the beginning, then it became clear from my some of our Referees that there were at least 3 large groups roaming so I told the Hunters to escalate. Unfortunately most of the time they were hard to catch and ended up probably killing a bunch of the lone wolves. We did not restrict bounce pings cause it was difficult to track and watch out for. It certainly made some of the blobs harder to catch.

I will definitely take the rest of your ideas under advisement cause we did have a hard cap of the event on singularity as a corp level, we did the event at 2:00 eve time which forced the event to end at sisi downtime at 5:00 I chose 19:00 to allow more EU timezone to participate.

We will be doing this event again, next year.

I was a member of the Overseer (aka hunter) team. Our initial focus was on breaking up large groups that could otherwise sit on beacons and essentially blob individual players. We didn't kill pods, however, so anyone who lost a ship to us could reship and continue to participate. We only killed pods when given a specific player disqualified by the referee.

Later in the game, on the referee's signal, we began to kill pods in order to help meet the game's time limits. Once the players eliminated each other to the final 40-50, the Overseer team stopped shooting anyone except to enforce the final boundaries at the single beacon.

We really didn't kill many lone wolves.

How close are we to knowing the winners/prize distribution?
