New player looking to get into RvB

Hello. I am a new player to Eve and I am trying to get into RvB for some reason the corporation list does not show me the red or blue corporation due to some of my search settings being wrong but i have tried fixing this and it doesn't work. I asked rookie chat and they just told me to apply to who ever is in need of members but I couldn't find out which one was needing members.

I was also wondering if I could use a tristan for PvP in red vs blue? because I heard it was a good ship to start out pvping in eve and I'm gallente.

R-V-B is the public channel, join that, they will get you sorted.

RvB basically takes everyone (except Gelvon Goblin, I would assume), just send your application.
I helps if you read the provided links in the public channel first, of course (Channel name is provided above), to learn the (few) dos and donts.
And yes, you can fly a Tristan. The only real no-go is using ECM, which is considered a fun-killer.

Just make sure you have everything in place before sending your application and be aware that lots of people are out hunting you as soon as you get accepted (which can be a matter of minutes).
