It's not CCPs fault that you don't know that the Caldari have TWO main weapon systems. Rails AND missiles, Yes MAIN, just as many Caldari ships use rails as missiles. In fact Caldari designed ships were rail ships first as the Caldari were within the Federation with the Gallente (RP).

It was about time that Rails/Gunships got some love also.

And wtf are you raging for, CCP gave Caldari Missile users love last time. The Tengu has 600+ DPS up to 108km with moar speed and tank. It doesn't suffer tracking issues of the large turrets and (if the Naga had Torps) it wouldn't suffer the Explosive radius/speed that a torp Naga would. Therefore the Tengu can take on and win against small craft such as frigates, cruisers and destroyers. A Naga in ANY form wouldn't be able to do such a feat.

In other words, if you really want to use the Naga, HTFU and trail rails like a good squid. Twisted

This Squid did. Big smile

As far as I understand it the tier 3 BC are to deliver heavy damage support mainly in groups, preferably sniping too.
A missile Naga would totally fail there and would just get left out in usual fleets.

I prefer to fit a Ferox with missile launchers and even used to run 4's with it.

Wow 12M in missiles that work properly I'm willing to say it's fine.

If you really wanted to pvp you can use drakes, tengus, blackbirds, falcons, rooks, crows, ravens, manticores and more of those that are very efficient if you haven't noticed.

The poor excuse that you have to train hybrids, witch is your secondary weapon system split 50/50 with missiles, is pointless.

I had to crosstrain Minmatar to have fun in pvp because all those millions sp I've spent on gallente and hybrids stuff were just good to gank miners in belts.

Good news, seems hybrids are about to get some love maybe beteen now and a few years more who knows, but now you have a good reason to train for.

I think the Rokh would like a chat. And his friend the Ferox. And their friend Mr. Moa, and Captain Cormorant, Major Merlin, and even Corporal Condor.

Basically the only difference between the Naga and any other turret-toting Caldari ship is that your gunnery skills have to be focused on Hybrids. At least this time the bonus actually helps, though!

Look on the bright side, you can use a few amarr ships with missiles and even a Minnie ship.

The naga change wasn't to much of a shock, more hybrid users is a good thing.

Oh look, a Drake flying carebear idiot that doesn't know anywhere near enough about the game to realise that the missile Naga would've sucked balls.

Train every race and every weaponry, sorted. Cool

I do love the gunships since that is where I started. I got sidetracked by missiles but I'm ready to go back to my roots....and train mimatar as well.

On a side note anyone up for a destroyer fight?

Despite my posting prowess I really am terrible at this game
