Reprocessing problem

Everytime i select a few items, right click select reprocess the window comes up i click process and the game freezes then i get a windows message saying "program stopped responding"

Just wondering if anyone any idea what might be causing this?

I have had a few reports so far, and I have managed to reproduce an issue with UI scaling. It happens a lot more at 125% and higher.

If you are using UI scaling I would love to know, if you aren't then it's a good bit of information that helps us debug further.

You can also supply me with the crashID, by doing the following:

Open windows explorer, or the run prompt.
Go to "%LocalAppData%/CCP/EVE"
Inside this folder, there will be a crash dump if EVE has stopped responding or crashed. If there are more than one file try to find the file created around the time that the issue happened.
You will see the file name as something like "1f92cbce-c778-4cda-bb47-f8dcb492c8aa"
That's the crashID I need. We receive a copy of the crash on our end so we can debug it. It will help me discover if it's the same issue I think it is.

Like I said at the top, I haven't got more information on this yet (I have had no crash dumps from players in bug reports) so all I have to go on is the possibility of UI scaling causing the issue.

yeah it is at 125% cause im on the big telly for font size reasons, there was 2 crash dumps, wasnt sure on what one so uploaded both

Looking at the dates when the files where created both should actually be when i tried to reprocess an the game crashed

sorry for all the editing lol

Edit again lol, went straight into game changed UI scaling down to 110% reprocessed without a problem, can bairly make out the font mind even with my high precision googles on Big smile

Thank you Bel Tika! While I know it's an inconvenience at the moment, I would recommend either staying away from the reprocessing window at 125%.

I found I could scale down to 110%, reprocess, and then scale back up without a crash. This is obviously an annoying workaround for now, but at least you've helped me guarantee where the problem is so that we can get it fixed soon.

Hello,

Just change to 125% in UI yesterday and I got the freeze trouble. Then I got to look with Google and I came up with this forum thread Big smile

Here is one crash number I have if it can help:

Same problem here, 150% DPI in Windows, 125% @1080p ingame, I believe it happens when hovering over Tritanium from Reprocessed scraps if I recall correctly, but I'm not exactly sure, it doesn't happen always or smth...

I do however have exefile.exe DPI option ticked to to ignore DPI.

I don't have any crash reports but I am experiencing the same issue. I also keep my scaling at 125%. I have had that same problem for the past month but I didn't start reprocessing seriously until recently so I ignored it until now.
