Almost every non-ugly ship above 250M ISK (with equipment). Too expensive to lose - too expensive to fly. Nightmare, SoE cruiser, Rattle, Tengu, Legion, etc. etc. etc.

??
I pvp in a cloak Proteus and it probably costs less than a bolt of a Mach of an incursion runner.

On topic. I agree with Tippia. I like the Keres but probably not the best solo ship for me. I should give it a try anyway.

I've always like the Cyclone model. Unfortunately I just don't get to use it often.

At first, I couldn't get over it not being a Cane and then I resolved to force myself to use it.

Once I found 3xNeut/AC, I fell in love, you don't need anything else when they just shut down nearly immediately and sit there dead in the water waiting for their hull to be perforated.

Why CCP decided to make it a missile boat I will never understand.

Ok here is a question, what ship do you think looks unbelievably gorgeous and would love to fly more of but that you don't get to actually fly it because it doesn't work for your play style or opportunities?

Mine is the Naga, it just looks gorgeous Nice flat side just make the kind of Turret boat I would love to fly but I have never even flown one because I have never been able to convince myself I could ever use it.

What's yours?

The Naga is a nice ship to fly. I refer to it as the flying tuning fork. With triple Magnetic Stabs and its Large Blasters it will melt the face off things that get in point and web range.

The Hyperion is a nice looking ship also that I have never flown.

Nyx, I love that ship, owned one for a month, and screwed up now its gone (RIP Pale Horse) don't have the isk or the need tor a new one, so it goes back to being a dream.

Oh and any titan, I would have no issues sitting in a space coffin for the nyx, but I can't be assed to train for a titan

The Maelstorm. They used to be a thing, but apparently active shield tanking sailboats are not generally welcome these days.

And all of the attack battlecruisers seem to be overshadowed by the Ishtar now. I remember when fleets of pulse Oracles and Rail Nagas were a thing.

Geddon every time. honestly that ship fits my playstyle just fine. I am always flying nuet ships. only reason I can't fly it is because the rest of my corp flys faster ships and can't be arsed to wait for me TT_TT

Roles, lulz. Just because it isn't intended to be used a certain way doesn't mean I won't try it. At least once, anyway.

There are some, but the three main ones for me:

1. Pilgrim: A sweet looking ship, but except for energy vamps / neuts, the Stratios does everything better and has a bonus to scan strength. And so I'm living in pain, since I know my favourite ship is forever suboptimal.

2. Oracle: Even better looking, but since there's no T2-version, I feel like training too much into it would be like training into a dead end.

3. Legion: A nice, good ship. But for the love of god, please give some kind of damage bonus on the covert-subsystem. The cloaky Legion is incredibly anemic. A subsystem like the Proteus has, with a bonus to warp scrambler/-disruptor range would be neat, too. Right now if I want to fly a stealthy, cloaky T3 the best choice would be ignoring the Legion and taking a Proteus instead.

Any carrier. They all look pretty cool, but you can't use jump drives solo, without assistance.

Other than that i always liked Damnation - but again, it's a fleet ship not meant for solo gameplay. Btw, it would be pretty cool to have a Battleship based on the Damnation model, maybe with bigger "wings".

Yeah, I feel the same. The Eos or the Vulture are also nice ships I would like to try. But since command ships are such a time sink to train, to literally zero gain for a solo-player, I'll pass on them for now. (Hell, with my actual skill plan, I could fly one of those ships in about 3 years, when I'm running out of more important skills to train. Big smile)

Curse.

Though to be fair, the Curse absolutely stomps what it's meant to fight against- active-tanked turret ships- that's just such a narrow group of things it doesn't actually do very much.

I find the Cruor and Ashimmu to be sexy hull designs. However the Cruor is still a frigate and the Ashimmu is still a cruiser. Step up to the battleship class and what do we get instead? An Armageddon with a paint job. Would've like for a unique design here too.

Phobos and Deimos

i like there paint jobs the phobos's new copper finish is nice to look at now

problem is interdictors are just better 90% of the time true they cant perma bubble like the hic's or fit a decent tank like a hic but there speed makes up for a lot of there short comings

as for the Deimos kinda a nice solo ship not sure why it has never really been made a fleet concept im sure there are reasons
