Was surprised to see Marmites killed more ships and isks then RvB in this very nice war Roll

I must admit, I couldn't believe me eyes when I saw you lads in New Caldari. Would have sworn you were just on your way to Jita, but you were actually shooting people there.

I'm not, there's by definition a lot of let's called them less than experienced pilots in RvB who don't know it's not a good idea to mission while at war or to take their full hauler into Jita with marmite in system. I believe at the start of the other thread I predicted we'd end up losing the ISK war against marmite. Still, we're up 2-1 ISK wise when you lump all the WTs together so we're happy with the result.

Agree. RvB won the overall war, because I think isks says more then kills.

Most kills : GSE / Mercs
Mosts isks : RvB
Won the war : RvB
Fun : RvB, GSE and Mercs for sure !

Marmite got dunked......nehh.... Lol

Thinking we're 'too elite' has nothing to do with it.

When we looked at the war reports from the first battles it was an obvious clusterfuck with Mercs throwing ships at the enemy, having no real fleet doctrine or logi. The numbers were around 10B+ lost versus only several billion destroyed if I remember correctly. Doesn't really fill you with confidence does it?

The fight yesterday that the Merc side won occurred with only two of us online due to timezone difference so we had no idea anything was happening.

Wich is only logical given that if you fielded the 2 fleets against each other you would only have RvB to shoot while RvB had a lot different alliances to shoot.


Next time only send 1 marmite along and let him just hit everything once , that'll shoot efficiency through the ROOF . Blink

Confirming that marmite should never rely on break-a-wish. You get upset when we kill you and you get upset when we refuse to throw our ships into a ragtag meat grinder.

Firstly I did not mention any specific Merc corp or alliance in my initial post and secondly, I was not talking exclusively with regard to Marmite in further posts.

I do find it ironic that you feel the need to jump in and attempt damage control and finger pointing at Marmite.

Don't forget the stragglers that we caught heading back to Marmite HQ Tora, we caught a BS and Hurricane Fleet Issue along with a few others. Maybe next time we will get several gate camps setup while you are forming ;) (not really what RvB does). Was all good fun tho, most of GSE were respectful to us, just had local rages from people who don't normally have ships firing back at them.

All in all a good time was had and good fights brought. I did not get to partisipate as much as I would have liked, but we always like the distraction of a good (big) war.

So you take a statement from an old post into this and deduce that I was pointing at you?

I do not need to enlighten anybody about who it is I was pointing the finger at as they already know who it is.
