Set your tax rate reasonably low (keep in mind you have to replace the occaisional caps that lazerhawks reprocess). If someone buys the salvage for personal use - keep it simple. Buy it at jita buy order prices and only worry about the nanos. The rest isn't worth the bother.

What is a reasonably low tax rate? We had a very high tax rate to SRP most things within reason, but it seems like it encourage corp driven site running too much (more PVE than id like). Do most corps tailor tax rate to just cover caps and the essential ships (like HICs / logi/ etc) + site running caps. I am sure the answers are across the board, I was just curious.

Also, sorry for the troll post in the other thread.

in USC we have 10% corp tax which covers free ammo, stront, fuel for main+indy pos and t2 modules. SRP isnt needed since people earn enough to pay for their ships themselves. SRP seems very silly to me for a c5/c6 corp with the amount of money people can get together. If they are losing more than they are earning they either do alot of suicidal pvp or are too lazy to pve. Might be harder to get by in the corps with huge amounts of members but thats what you get for being a dirty blobber Big smile

"too lazy to PvE"

Or too busy trying to find PvP content...

If thuggin' was a category I'd win a Grammy

That could be but in my experience the people that are providing pvp content are also the ones with the fattest wallets while those with no isk wait in the pos for someone to find them some content Roll

Guess it really depends on the corp. I've found scout bounties encourage people to leave POS to find things.

Yes, I would totally agree. Mostly those that take initiative and and can work on their own vs rely on someone else to pull their weight.
