It means that if you're buying groceries, ffs use a bag — don't just put the stuff in your pockets because it'll break.

1) How does Goonswarm maintain influential control over the entire game?

- by being goon to its allies.
- by giving the members of the cfc content
- by destroying our hostiles game play

2) What drives them to destroy the game?

- goons are not out to destroy the game, they are out to destroy anyone that is not allied to them this is the cse of each alliance in the game.

3) Why are they unstoppable?

4) Why can't all the powerful alliances team up and end Goonswarm once and for all?

they could the only thing stopping them is .... (not going to make there lives easier)

5) How does one kill a Goon?

undock in a pvp ship bring friends if need be.

and yet, despite being the best at the 'meta', awfuly prosperous, evil, slave drivers for their precious srp and so on, they still are aweful at the AT and always have been... so in fact, they can only win on an uneven playing field. Go figure.

we were going to sweep this year with our skiff & dst comp but then ccp blackballed those ships from the tourney so we refused to participate

Honestly, it's like arguing with a child or a meme generator, and it's probably digested half the internet and can regurgitate a smartarse remark faster than most people breathe. Arguing wth one (with a brain) is an exercise in futility. Esp if it makes you laugh.

Maybe that counts as winning at Eve. If they can take a broken game, carve out a niche and retain a degree of humour about it, I don't see why they can't stay. Infuriating other people is the silver lining, or perhaps the goal? Who are we going to moan about if they die? CODE?? It's not as if N3/PL - or any of the loudmouth organisations, for that matter - are known for their e-virtue. It's a male dominated game so chances are any dominant group will have a big % of 'lad' culture gobshites.

Having said that the mark of a GoonWannabe is enthusiastic but hilarious badposting coupled with the inability to detect sarcasm and the blatant desire to attach to a 'cool' group. Which is a glorious mix of stupidity and ego, and should never be ignored. If you roar "YOU ARE A BAD POASTER AND NOT A REAL GOON" (or a more subtle variant) those types apear to shrivel/implode, or start ranting, which is absolutely epic. Maybe they are just trolling, which is a conundrum. But v0v who cares.

If you want to kill something, kill it. Don't ramble about it beforehand. If you can't kill it, aim to maim. Why hit a strong opponent head on, when you can nibble at their attention whoring (irrelevant) flanks who come out and warble? The CFC is the weakspot. It's populated with some of the biggest free-loading, risk-averse sandcastle builders in the game. I remember a lot of them from the NC (because they were bads). It's possible there are more whiny, entitled shitlord scrubs in the CFC than in Empire. It pleases me immensely to see them roleplaying a 'coalition' when in reality they're just a meatshield/protective bubble, as does them roleplaying being bros. They're not, and eventually they'll get what they deserve (probably from their own side). Why should Goons be targeted in 2014 for doing exactly what the Bob/NC did (better)? It should be fairly obvious that their peripheral bads remain bads no matter how much isk they gobble up or members they stuff into supers. Watching them flail about over a lack of content, whinge at CCP, and just generally act like muppets is an awesome spectator sport btw.

This is accurate, if you want to hit them, hit them in their weakest links.

I wonder if ppl fought aswell as they spoke out against the CFC on the forums maybe eve be abit more of a interesting place, but well it ridiculous to speculate as there dominance of the game clearly shows all the forum words are just that words, none of you actually go out there an do anything do you? but again your all pro pvper's right?

In my experience, the only people who get all hot and bothered about the history of the Goons and their supposed "impact" on the game fall into three groups: bitter, defeated enemies of the goons, Burn Jita victims, and newbies who still haven't figured out that sov null doesn't matter.
