For those of you who don't know, my character intends to host many a roleplay party in the future. The main problem is an excuse to have a party and the timing.

I've been looking up lore-friendly holidays, and the only one I could find mentioned was here and I couldn't find the date.

Is there any link or mention of any lore-friendly holidays? Especially around christmas time. I don't need a holiday to throw a party, but it would sure make it a lot easier if there was a tangible reason.

One suggestion I've seen given the religious nature of the Amarr, is that there could be feast days or celebrations relating to patron saints. Perhaps a Saint's Feast Day that is special to Lord Draconis or his holdings?

Possibly. Although I would rather exhaust the pf first before coming up with a holiday on my own xD But yes that is an option. My goal is also to come up with something that non-Amarr(Caldari loyalists, neutrals, wormholers, etc) will be able to comfortably attend.

Some possible holidays I dug up:

Coronation of Empress Jamyl on 10 octobre 2008 (YC110)

The destruction of the Elder fleet & re-appearance of Jamyl on 10 june 2008 (YC110) in the Battle of Mekhios

Also on 7 june 2009 (YC111): a move to re-unification: Khanid kingdom gains seat in empire council

the Emancipation declaration: releasing all slaves of 9th generation and up on 25 decembre 2008 (YC110): a christmas date!

The Pakshai incident you mentioned was on 26 march 2010(YC112), caused the death of over 5000 people.

Perhaps others know of more dates to use for celebrations & such in the Amarr Empire?

A religious date that could be used is the return of the bones of St Aman to the Empire? It was a live event involving FW, PIE knows more of this I believe (couldn't find the old newsreports, only found clues to it through posts on forum & PIE history)
