But be honest, is that character your main, or a posting alt? If it's a posting alt, and you genuinely wish to engage in legitimate discussion on the forums (which, judging from post history, you do), then the barrier to entry is still really low.


I understand your point that it's easier to troll on an NPC alt. This is my forum alt. I just use this so I don't get no one trying to take out their dislike of my opinion on me in game. No one can agree with someone else 100%.

I've been cloaky camped and done it. It's way out of hand and needs addressing if ccp ever want null to have a functioning industry and self sustainability

I've made an 8 year career of emphatically disagreeing with people on these forums and it has cost me a grand total of 1 Drake in that time.

Grow some cojones and go mine, rat or explore other systems. You're afraid of a potential hotdropper in your system? I mine in wormhole space on the edge of my seat expecting to die at any second from that one cloaky proteus I expect to decloak and kill me. I have to put scouts on the wormholes to watch for traffic. Even then, I have no idea if someone has been camping my system for the past week waiting for that one kill.

I still leave the safety of my pos and go mine or go run sites. Meanwhile, you're holed up in your nice nullsec station, with a local channel that tells you there's a red in system, and that 1 guy has you scared to undock.

Undock from your station and go to another system to do your PVE. Im sure you are blue to all your neighbors. Hell that is another thing that gets me about you nullbears. You blue up your neighbors, have intel channels telling you what is coming for systems away from you thanks to your local channel. My neighbors change everyday. All my neighbors want to kill me. That doesnt stop me from doing what I do.

Grow some cojones and quit your whining.

I've thoroughly annoyed people on the forums for closer to 7 years now. It has amounted to one (very brief, before they cancelled it) wardec, 4.5bn bounty and zero losses.

So the whole notion that people will hunt you down because you slap them silly on the forums seems itself rather silly. Maybe if you spend your forum time proving you are a never-ending fountain of tears — some are probably willing to draw from that kind of well.

It's overpowered and needs balancing! End of discussion. CCP/ The devs think it's ok because "EVE IS HARDCORE" and Honestly I think they enjoy the infamy of having this super ruthless game. But it's time the ruthlessness came back down to earth eve has hell of a death penalty without the stigma of being full of greifers.

I know my ex-corporations Tactics HAVE made people leave the game. We DID bring entire alliance to their knee's and sure it was fun. But it was at no point balanced. We had free roam to do what we wanted when we wanted. engage targets at our leisure.

EVE and CCP need to move away from the greif/ganking culture and into a Brawling underdog culture. EVE should be about the glory of the feeling you get taking on 3 to 1 odds and winning and the awesome rush that is knowing you hurt them financially from a position of weakness.

Not about having more numbers than the other guy and saying look I killed him give me some attention.

Not this again, afk cloakers don't bother anyone they're afk.

If you do find them a bother then you have yourself to blame because it's all in your mind.

1: Nah
2: Cloaky wouldn't be cloaky if you could scan for it.
3: This would wreck bomber gangs lurking near a structure roast waiting for the order. One lagging newbro would mess things up. So nah.

These ideas have been suggested before.

AFK Cloaking only effects 2 kinds of people:

Risk adverse carebears and bots.

Since OP would never admit to being a carebear, CCP should investigate OP for botting.
