Just because risk averse cowards can't bring themselves to undock with a neutral in local, does not mean that anything is wrong with cloaking devices.

They're called warrior II's and every single minning ship can fit them. And they literally have guns that shoot bullets. And they've killed plenty a bomber.

My outlook on it:

You complain about one cloaky guy in system who might be afk.

What about miners? Every guy that enters their system in high/low can be a possible threat, ready to jump their bones & gank m. Considering the populationdensity of high/low, moving to another system to avoid people in local is not an option, and you can't retaliate & defend yourself either, unless the attack already started.

So in short: want cloaking changed so you got an easier life in null? Then also advocate a change to make the life of a mining player easier.

Oh and loading guns on a mining ship? Only thing you do is giving PvP'ers an extra tool to play with, not something extra to defend yourself with (see Venture, popular mining ship, but also popular PvP ship)

The three options given in the OP would have absolutely no effect on an active cloaked pilot. Therefore this is an attempt to decloak AFK pilots, who by definition cannot defend themselves, thus this is just a case of someone wanting free kills.

Get over your fear of someone who can in no way interact with the game or harm you in anyway...

I should point out that this thread is an excellent justification for the proposal to ban NPC corp players from GD.

Very true, and you are a good example of this.

But be honest, is that character your main, or a posting alt? If it's a posting alt, and you genuinely wish to engage in legitimate discussion on the forums (which, judging from post history, you do), then the barrier to entry is still really low.
