Looking for the right trade hub.

So I'm looking for the right trade hub (as my title obviously states) to do some trading in (duh). Thing is, I don't want one that moves extremely slow (like for someone who only has 30 mins/day to play and can only update orders once/day) but I don't want one that moves extremely fast (like Jita) because I don't want to have to sit at my comp every second checking and rechecking orders to up someone by .01 ISK.

Just looking for a medium-paced hub, was thinking Rens or Amarr maybe, not sure on Dodixie tho or Hek

Most folks don't like giving the competition a hand so you may not get a lot of replies. I've found Amarr a good hub to trade in. Not too fast, not too slow (depending on what you're trading).

Have a look at this list: Station trading volumes by region

This will give you an idea of which stations in each region are the hub-like (usually there's at least one per region). You should be able to find the right fit for your trading style on there.

Well for personal experience... Hek/Rens is where i started my trading career, i have now moved into industry so im willing to give some help.

Rens/Hek is a nice starting area.. hek being smaller then rens, but its a good place to learn and only 6 jumps (i believe?) from rens and its one jump from another region, so you can possibly do some nice region trading if your not too lazy... i.e. buy in hek sell in rens or vise versa!

Just my 2 cents though!

Rens and Hek are both good. Rens is <6 jumps from two other regions, so its not too bad to do inter-regional trading. (Heimatar is also a fairly small region, so you can remotely trade the entire region with just L4 skills)
