Are they banned? If not why not? Pretty much every other high isk item that can give a huge advantage is banned. and the Etna especially will be a HUGE advantage for any team able to afford to field it.

They are not banned and part of their value is in entertaining explosions on live-stream.

Please tell us what ship is banned? Also you are basicly saying that there should not be flagships as certain groups will be able to have a higher isk item than the other...

Totally not banned, and Etanas have a losing record in the Alliance Tournament.

The AT Prize ships are generally very powerful ships to bring to the tourney field. However, it is rarely the advantages such ships offer that determine the outcome of a match. Also, the explosion of such bling on the field really increases the entertainment of the viewership.
