Just for the info:

Having the same problem on xfire Mobility Radeon 5870s with 8.763 drivers and on desktop xfire 6950s.
Tried 6950s with 11.9 and 11.11 drivers - no difference.

Had no problems on either 5870s or 6950s (11.9) before Crucible expansion.

As a temporary fix enabling or disabling HDR helps. After 1 - 5 jumps the problem reemerges so you need to keep applying the "fix" which does get annoying.

I am happy to say that we should have resolved this depth issue in the latest built, please install the Singularity test client and let us know if your red flickering is still an issue or not.

Apologies for not replying sooner!

I'm happy to confirm that the issue appears to be fixed for me on singularity. Not only that, but my system appears to be running more quietly and cooler. I'm looking forward to the release of the next patch! Thanks for taking the time to correct it!

Ok Ladies and Gents and CCP Dev team --

I am having the same problems and some additional ones for the devs to look into regaurding Crossfire issues - I hope these descriptions help in solving crossfire problems in the future.

1. The red flashing - same as everyone else (this seems to start after an alt - tab and while using gates and jump bridges in groups)

2. Faint Light ripples like the refresh rate is having issues (this seems to start after an alt-tab) - have not seen this mentioned before - this occurs after every alt-tab period, and without exception.

3. Eve allowing a maxium of 3 alt-tabs before not allowing any further alt - tabs ( ctrl - alt - del has to be used in place and you get strange color pallets while it switches to the ctrl - alt - del selection screen where you can choose task manager) inevitably it requires a system restart to clear these issues.

At least for me -- Most of the issues start with an alt -tab - if you have not noticed.

Good News however Folks -- I have a workaround for you at least until the Devs fix it. You probably won't like it much ( I know I don't)

Set Eve to run in windowed mode or run in fixed window if you have multiple displays. This moves everything onto one card even if you can't disable the crossfire due to your driver version.

Let me know if this fix did not work for you guys -- it does work for me -- I am Running Dual 6850's on Win7 - 64bit.

Mine is currently in windowed mode and it is happening.

Well you have fixed the RED FLASHY TEXTURE MESS from being visible, shame you havent fixed the underlining problem that was causing it, carefull monitoring of gpu usage before and after the patch show the same behaviour, the gpu overhead of rendering the RED FLASHY TEXTURE MESS was about 20% on both cards (tabing out and in again removes the 20%)
Now after the patch the RED FLASHY TEXTURE MESS is no longer visable but some of the other slight glitches that was hidden in the RED FLASHY TEXTURE MESS are, including the 20% overhead.
This is the way to put the game in, what Im calling from now on "INVISIBLE RED FLASHY TEXTURE MESS MODE"
Step 1. Set all graphical settings to high.
Step 2. Enter game
Step 3. Open the ingame browser (This is not to look at porn, but rather the browser itself is sensitive to "INVISIBLE RED FLASHY TEXTURE MESS MODE")
Step 4. Open the ingame FPS counter (This is not to check FPS, but rather the counter itself seems to be sensitive to "INVISIBLE RED FLASHY TEXTURE MESS MODE")
Step 5. Press escape (This is not to escape, but rather the darkened screen and menu's are sensitive to "INVISIBLE RED FLASHY TEXTURE MESS MODE")
Step 6. If everything looked normal in steps 3-5 undock or jump.
Step 7. Keep undocking, docking or jumping rechecking steps 3-5 after every undocking, docking or jump.
Step 8. KEEP GOING!!!!! it is random, it may take a while.
Step 9. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! you have entered "INVISIBLE RED FLASHY TEXTURE MESS MODE"
Yes, the ingame browser is suffering from slight intermittent graphical corruption (hard to explain corruption, that is transparent in nature)
Yes, the FPS counter is suffering from slight intermittent graphical corruption (hard to explain corruption, that is transparent in nature)
Yes, the escape darkened screen and menu's is suffering from graphical corruption, but its not intermittent or slight (Its like a tear from the middle of the screen down, shades of black and its moving up and down somewhat)
Yes, even slighter and more intermittent graphical corruption may occur anywhere on screen (transparent in nature)
To exit "INVISIBLE RED FLASHY TEXTURE MESS MODE" tab out and in again Ugh
