Tilde Duchateau: Really like the dark mood of your character, the deatils & outfit add to it (and with a light outfit, that's a challenge!) I especially like your sleeve, you make it look like it's part of a black see-through vest instead of a tattoo, really well done! 9/10




Yo'ure indeed rigth that on close up it is forced, but seems CCP altered something to make an all-natural warm smile practically impossible. I settled for this atm because very few folks check the zoomed out portrait (except here ofc Will attempt to relax it a bit, but from earlier experimentations, the smile usually fades or gets creepy instead
Still working on getting back my all-natural smile from my first version of avatar play : Smile But ever since I changed my looks, I'm unable to reproduce the smile, but I'll keep on trying! I'll have it back! And I'll use your sugegstions in future attemps

I like the pose and the lighting. The background is a good choice and I like the color scheme. The positioning is a bit off for me though, it could use some adjustment with the Rule of Thirds. 9/10

So..let me begin with admitting that I am a terrible person..my mother was an art teacher, my gf works at an art gallery- and if there is one thing I have learned over the years, it is tearing other people's art down and be a general **** about it.

So, now to your porttrait. I like the colours..so many pictures here are mostly black, going for earthen/brown tones is pretty refreshing and gives her a savage and rugged look.
The thing that immediately caught my attention was her right blind eye (on the left side when you look at her, duh).
It doesn't work at all, in my opinion. there are no scars around the eye socket that would make it believable. And persons with blind eyes or facial scars usually try to hide them- your haircut doesn't reflect that .
If you'd chose the K-Pop hairstyle (worn by Shalua for example) to have the hair cover the blind eye, it all would look much more natural. Your current haircut looks too strict for a tough Minmatar girl, like the colours suggest.
Also the lip piercing- you should go with something more assymetrical, just in one corner of the mouth. Symmetry is for Amarrian oppressors, not Sebiestor rebels.
Overall I still happen to like your picture , so 8/10 despite all my b*tching.




CCP stole our smiles like some evil demon in a fariy tale.
I still remembered your old portrait, it was instant 10/10, one of the most unique around and one of the very few avatars who actually managed to put on a non-psychotic smile. Out of my head, Sprite Can is still one of the very few smiling faces here that's left.
Maybe we should shoot a monument until CCP gives us the smiles back....
