And thus is why you always set bastion module recycle to off.. yes you have to hit it every 60 secs to restart it..... normally you don't need 60 secs to be done with bastion. At least that is how my pally goes.

Last I checked, if bastion is up when you disconnect, you stay on the field regardless of auto cycle being on or off. Because your ship only attempts emergency warp once.

If this changed, then please elaborate.

Tried this, but until they fix the Golem's phantom missile bug it's really not a viable method. If missiles are mid flight when bastion is enabled/disabled the missiles will do nothing.

My Golem has survived a couple DC's, the trouble is that killing the scramblers makes no difference if you're still in bastion when you DC, you won't warp off

Actually Marauders have 10% higher warp speed than other BS hulls. (except the Mach of course) Since this stacks with warp speed implants it can more than make up for their slower align time in many cases.

Now if only the Sin and the Kronos switched roles, and maybe hulls for good measure (the fat lady likes to sing) that would offer some much needed variation and choice. Bastion mode can affect drone speed, range and HP. Stop hating on drones CCP Evil

I wish there was a drone marauder, would make me consider training to sit in one. Fly a rattler myself so with my skills my only reasonable choice is the golem unless I want train guns from scratch.

I flew Rattlesnake and Nestor a while, rattler is a bit yawn, I do like the laser with drones on the Nestor tough, but lately I found the Eos much better, the "Commander" just feels right, especially when dual boxing with an Ishtar. 4 Geckos going in 4KM/s with 10x damage is kinda neat wanna-be carrier Lol

But yeah, but wish we had a proper drone marauder, drone implants and rigs with bandwidth and/or +1 drone control would also be much fun. I don't really care about the most isk/hour I just want to fly pretty, fun and interesting fits.
